The rest of his time at McLaren and how insular his career has been makes sense with this as the context. Would love for him to write about this in a book after he retires!

Alonso had nothing to do with it, did you not watch the docco. Teams change set up on info gained from other teams all the time, stealing the info is a different matter. Alonso was a minor player who happened to be there. Hamilton won a wdc based on stolen info.
