Honestly that reflects how he operates musically as well. I've always been blown away at Phobos' restraint considering how well he can play, but if it doesn't serve the song he holds back. But then when it does serve the song holy shit he brings the heat, see Dance Floor Cold War for proof. That's what makes a good musician, knowing how best to serve the song instead of showing off at all times. And Lord Phobos, just like the rest of his bandmates, is a good musician

Technically, not a vocoder, it's a talk box. And I don't say this just to correct, talk boxes are really cool! It plays music notes through a speaker with a tube you put in your mouth and you shape the sound with your mouth for a microphone to pick up.

@@wolfiemuseI would say that most of TWRP songs are nicely whimsical, where some of the songs can be a silly mood as a concept but meant to have a deeper and sometimes positive understanding at times. It’s not like Tom or NSP though where their songs go off the rails in favor for a punchline. Other TWRP songs are completely serious though.

If you want more once you've been through the TWRP repertoire, try giving a listen to Jogurt's "Model Human" song from Job Simulator & also Trey Magifique's entire smooth jazz album. They both had the good sense to get Meouch lay down the funk on their tracks.

This is genuinely my favorite TWRP collab of all time, and that's sayin something cuz Starlight Brigade and Polygon are absolute fuckin bangers! Everything from Tom n Montaigne's smooth vocals, to the catchy beats and dancey bops, to the sheer nerdiness sprinkled throughout the lyrics... Pure bliss. Y'all needa collab again, this was truly divine!

Idk what it is about those guys, they just have an aura of FUN that's so addicting.
