@@Prodmullefc I didn't vote for a long time until Trump ran the first time. I lost my faith in the system and since the country has been hijacked by godless liberals I have begun to feel a bit hopeless again but with that said, I will never lose hope entirely. Sometimes I think it would take something drastic to take our country back.

Trump to me is an encapsulating symbol of pre 9/11, pre Great Recession Americana. This song perfectly translates that idea to musical form. Listening to it I'm reminded of my childhood, when America was the greatest country, the world was full of possibility, and nothing could stand in the way of our dreams.
I think it's a possibility we will experience that same thing again if Trump gets another term.

@@clawmachinez26 during 2016 I saw my friends who had been silenced for so long starting to speak up. Trump was giving them cover to rightfully express themselves. And liberals were needing to contend with all that. If only Trump's rhetoric stayed the same throughout those 4 years and if he could have enacted more of that agenda, how much further we'd be today.

@@TRex-dd4ze What your friends hoped for was an ability to elect actor which would be above the system he was elected in, by other words and simpler words what many people hoped for was a king, instead what you got was an actor who plays a limited role within the system they are elected in and who was also created by this system, aka politician.
Now it is obvious that this wish stems from the fact that your friends and you are dissatisfied with the functioning of this system and with how little your vote can change it.
The sad reality is that there are no heroes or kings to come that will save you and save america, meaning they will have both your and the countrys well being in mind when working in their office.
The only advice I can give you is use your wit and dont fall a prey to politicians who know people like you exist and would give them power if they said the right words. God bless you
