Kinda agree - design changes are all that are coming for the Nano. We want wifi, icloud support, and more innovation! As it is, its pretty restrictive and only suited to a certain type of user.
After syncing the Nano I noticed the a pause icon on the music button. After pressing the button the pause it relocated up to the top next to the battery power indicator icon. I have not been able to get the unit to play yet. The pause icon just keeps moving from place to place. Any ides?
well i,ve spent the last 2 days working out just how to import music into this thing its way 2 small.i seem 2 have problems when i try to transfer music my album pictures r not showing up and i seem to have loads of seperate songs from one album this is confusing me when i switch of nano and turn back on the music has gone from nano how do i import music from my pc i want full albums on my nano not all singles mixed up
Sara Pereira It's a good buy for the price I paid which is $80 off of ebay it's was in like very good condition. Battery life is very long I didn't time it but it seems as advertised mostly get a full days worth of battery. The standby is also great the battery don't drain as far as I can tell after having it sit unused for three days at one time. The device is Apple quality so the quality is definitely there but still for only 16gb the most I would pay to own this is $100 bucks imo because at the end of the day it really only is designed to play music. Good luck
Brandon Holmin No. The ipod classic sounds a lot louder and a little bit more clearer than the nano. I tried out and compared 6th & 7th gen classic with 3, 4 & 6th gen nano. But the nano is small and very lightweight, thats why i prefer it to the classic (for an mp3 player to keep in the pocked while going out, or at work)
Hi all. just brought this nice looking. it would be nice if i could plum it into my computer. i bought it second hand and have spent biggest part of the day trying to plum it in. nobody seems to have any knowlegde or easy way.could anyone tell me how or were im going wrong. Have down loaded itunes but cant make contact from nano to computer. thanks kind ones.
couple of things: 1) there is NO built-in volume control on the included ear-pods, 2) 16gb is the only option for the 7th gen. otherwise, good video (but you might want to cut down on repeating things too often :) )
just a question as someone in canada that always chooses english us lol is there any diff between english uk?!?! lol like ive never really thought about it
lol - I think its just some spelling differences? English US use more 'z' and UK use more 's'. For example, in the US they use a 'z' in 'organize' whereas in the UK its 'organise' - with an 's'. Thats what I think anyway! lol
I want one but I could use some opinions: is it worth the price and how is the battery life? Please its URGENT!!!!!! all information is needed and wanted!!!!!!
i think Blutooth is a nice addition. Nano is all about 'size' for people who exersize. when it starts getting bigger for more features it ruins the whole point of the thing.
Sheesh....you guys want it ALL! lol If you want all of those things, jump up another $50 and get the Touch. I have had a lot of ipods over the years, but this 7th gen Nano is my favorite! Built-in BlUETOOTH, baby! Slap on a pair of Jaybird Bluebud X's, and you now have the ultimate setup for "active use". :)
surely if you want all those thing you would be better off with an ipod touch. a nano is not the device for you if want a device thats not restrictive.
I guess the equation has been rebalanced! I Pod nano becomes a compact MP3 and The touch becomes a true I Pod. Too bad both of them are overpriced.....................

Does this model have the "crossfade" feature in playback settings?
Right! I only care about my music, so this is perfect.
I herd the battery in this runs out after so much use is this true our does it last as long as the iPod touch
Hey I was wondering how you have this if you are in uk. Is it out in uk yet?
Can you use the nano 7th Gen on a docking station?

hi does the bluetooth work with a phone its just i tried and it took ages to pick up a signal from friends phone then just cut out
I have ordered it but is says dispatch two weeks and it isn't in any stores
if they allow wifi, what will the ipod touch do? they made it clear, nano is for music. if you want wifi and apps then get the ipod touch?
does this have a loud speaker?

I have a 7th generation 160gb Ipod classic and i think it sounds really good. Does the new nano have as good of sound as my Ipod classic.
Brandon Holmin No. The ipod classic sounds a lot louder and a little bit more clearer than the nano.

ok good thanks
We can only hope that the updated versions will allow just that!
can you type to search for songs?

Lisa Hulshof 14.7 GB is available to use out of the box..how I know: I own the black version of this nano
I have a question: How good is the quality of the device, i heard that this generation is more fragile, and can broke easily... is for friend gift...
Yep is
Sheesh....you guys want it ALL! lol

can you see the lyrics of a song in this genaration
I love it but seriously? no speakers? :/
My nanos battery life is too low..about 5 to 6 hours.Plz help guys
Obviously, there wouldn't be any wifi enabling allowed on the iPod nano. It's not an iOS device, hence the "i" standing for "Internet"
does this play music videos? you didn't answer a simple question
Thats the problem with small gadgets!! They are nice and neat, but easy to lose!!
Regardless, appreciate your in-depth reviews!
Cool - glad it was helpful!
what about nokia patents :)
WHAT HAPPED TO A SQUARE HOME BUTTON THIS IS A CIRCLE!
surely if you want all those thing you would be better off with an ipod touch. a nano is not the device for you if want a device thats not restrictive.
Ok here's what ya do add iOS 6 and a phone app boom iPhone 5 nano
I want one!
Cool the best looking ipod nano but no can
@GymClubHouse yes yes it can
Ipod nano's purpose is only for music if you want games buy an ipod touch or phone.
I have to say Apple is kind of losing its original appeal.
Yes it does.
the7th is a step back the circle scheme is kinda ugly n it was SOOO sexy in the 6th
Anyone else thinks this looks like a mini Nokia Lumia.
I actually have this
Very nice, very nice, very nice...
I like the iPod nanou
great nails !
I guess the equation has been rebalanced! I Pod nano becomes a compact MP3 and The touch becomes a true I Pod. Too bad both of them are overpriced.....................
they would suck anyways... no bass or anything.. but the size of that is so small and thin!!!
yep!!! :)
