I really like the mountain pass color
This colour definitely leaned slightly pinkish/red undertone on my walls against other off white colours (from SW, BM, Behr)
I've had an off white do that too. I think paint companies should tell us the paint codes and what colors they actually are in the code.
For instance, PPG Mountain Grey has white added, black, yellow and red.
I definitely would have tweaked the red down to half. It's not much in there compared to the rest of pigments but a good amount on its own to pull more red(pink) in the shadows or corners of walls.
Enough that I loved it in full sun but north facing walls was too much.
What works in one room may not work in another.
I'm going with a custom color of white added to gallon white base and 4 drops of black.

I love SW White Flour in theory. The problem with my walls is the amount of shadow cast from the north side, in addition to the trees, and even the overhang I have, all made it an impossible choice for me. You need west side sun, even south west, for it to really show off.
I would love your opinion on my paint choice. I want to paint my kitchen cabinets gentle cream by BM. I am struggling to find a good option for walls that is slightly lighter. You convinced me to go with super white on all trim. Can you give me your opinion??? Should I just go with gentle cream at 75% or is there a better option?

Hi buddy, lo e your show.ha ing a dilemma. Trim color for my earthy tone pallette.
Sw natural tan is my base color, w pewter green for an accent wall and book shelves.

So I have an issue that I hope you can help me with. When trying to determine what is the paint color I like when using mighty boards or samplize or just painting a swatch of my wall to see how i like it, how do I compensate for reflection/overtones from surrounding walls that are already painted a different color that I'm wanting to paint over?

I painted my north facing bedroom an off white last year because I didn’t want a blue toned stark white. That backfired for me. It turned out looking like someone had smoked in the room for 10 years.
Brown or yellow in paint will do that.

After much research and agonizing over color I just paid to have my entire condo painted in SW White Flour. It looks YELLOW especially as the day goes on and the light changes to a bit darker. The condo is currently empty and has a grayish floor. Any suggestions from the folks on this thread? I simply wanted a nice white that would be neutral that I could bring in other color through decor.
Everyone loves warm light bulbs right now, but maybe try a cool tone bulb? It's a relatively cheap thing to try! I'm thinking of doing white flour in my kitchen where I have warm lights, so I appreciate your comment! I'll have to swatch it and see if it's the right color for my light
I noticed the lamp hanging over the baby bed. Imagine being a baby with that lightbulb glaring at you from above. This isn’t a complaint. I just happened to notice it, lol.
