Is the camera able to detect motions (Peaple) if the person is not in the field of view? So for example the camera is recording the left edge of a wall an some one is moving at the right edge of the wall, even if he´s not in the fiel of fiew at that momen? Or is the camera moving all the time from left to right for exaple to don´t miss anything? By the way, good video!
This looks pretty impressive. But I am little unclear on the mounting part. I see in Eufy's pictures that it is mounted to a wall. But can it be mounted under the roof eaves? That is where my electrical box is located.
I’ve been thinking about getting this one & replacing my 2 Pro camera at the front of my house because it will cover a lot more ground & always have power. It also means I can move the battery powered 2 Pro to cover a smaller area down the side of the house. My only concern is that this model’s been out for a couple of years now & I’m not keen on investing my main surveillance area on it when it could be superseded by newer model with new tech perhaps this year????
Hello. From what I read regarding the specs of this system it operates on 120-240VAC. However I’ve seen some advertisements state it’s 120VAC. So please tell me what your system has stamped on it. Thank you in advance.
My Eufy Floodlight Cam 2 Pro worked flawlessly for nearly two years but recently has been very erratic. About 1/2 the time, when I access the camera via my iPhone or iPad, it's pointing straight down instead of at the present default position showing my driveway, front yard, and front door. Eufy has been unable to find a solution. They just said I can buy a new one since my current one is out of warranty. Has anyone else had this problem? I've tried everything (recalibrate, restart, I even went up the later pushed the button on the back of the unit, and started the process all over from scratch. I'm frustrated because sometimes (1/2-1/3 of the time) it's showing the proper default scene but the majority of the time it's pointing straight down at the concrete of my driveway. Argh!! Help!
When you switch on the light manually (or by Alexa) does it REMAIN on until switched off? As of last year, it switched itself off after 30secs. That is frustrating if you want to switch it on while outside on the patio at night and have it remain on. Perhaps they have done a firmware update on this?
The thing I genuinely like about this camera is the ability to change its color temperature. Everyone should follow suit.

It’s not a Patio light if you wanted that option you should have kept your original light and just added a camera……
