  • This lecture explains about the beta sheet structure of the protein. Beta sheet also known as the beta plated sheet is a type of secondary structure of the protein that helps in making the tertiary structure of the protein. Beta sheet and alpha helix structures form the most of the secondary structure of the protein. Beta sheet structure is mostly found in globular or soluble protein like globin family protein.

  • @AbbasKhan090

It's very helpful but some concepts are still in ambiguity and clear. For example, you told that the H Bond in alpha helix is formed and responsible for helical structure while in beta sheets it is responsible for sheet formation? Why the H Bond formed is different in both these, any factor responsible for this change or because of some other reasons? Can you please guide me about that.
    Thanks in advance
