I think this is the paddle I had in my bag when I met you during that tourney I played against you. I was testing it around that time. I hope you're enjoying it!
Thanks for another awesome review! I have the R1 Nova and love it! How does this compare to the R1 Nova? What are the main differences in terms of gameplay between the R1 and R3 Nova and which would you choose?
I think the R1 nova is a little softer and doesn't have the plow through. With the Nova 3 your hand battles will struggle some compared to the R1 due to the swingweight difference. I'm extremely comfortable with the R3 nova right now but if I were going to a tourney I'd rather play with the R1 nova and get used to it. The speed in hand battles is worth it to me
How close is the plushness/softness of the R3 pulsar to the Vatic prism series? Also between the R3 pulsar and pro line s, which do you think is easier to control?
It’s interesting that 6.5 twistweight is considered average. It seems like not that many paddles have 6.5 twistweight stock. It seems like something closer to 6 should be average.
Ya I kind of agree. I'm just going off of what other RUclipsrs are using for average since there's already a standard that's been set. I would prefer 6.25 be the average but we are stuck at 6.50 as average until majority reviewers change their opinion
@@FarmerLankyPickleball it almost just seems like they’re accidentally saying the wrong thing. I think they mean that 6.5 twistweight will give you an average level of performance on the range of what twistweight has to offer, rather than that the average twistweight of any given paddle is 6.5.
Ronbus says theirs is gen 3 with one small change compared to gen 2. Aniviia says theirs is a gen 3 with one small change from the gen 2 paddles. I don't think one small change makes a paddle a gen 3. It would need to be something that drastically changes the way the paddles feel but the Nova and Aniviia paddle are so close to gen 1.5 and gen 2 so I just don't feel right calling them gen 3.
Just got this paddle today. Probably the only paddle ive ever used before that I didnt feel needed lead tape.

Started 1 month ago, R1 Nova is my first paddle. Sweet spot seems a little small, no clue how it spins, but otherwise a nice paddle.
Ya they are definitely paddles you should probably add some lead weight to tbh

I see on your wall a Prolite K2, when will you review it? I am very curious about it.

Well then it’s up to the vendors to keep up with the standard than we dropping ours
I thought nova is gen 3 why only 1.5
