This brand is amazing. I wanted the CRBN 2 Control, but I'm cheap not wanting to spend $300 CAD. I did some research and the Pickln Piknix Pro was described as identical. It genuinely is! I tried both and couldn't tell the difference only pay $85 USD it too, saved a ton! I'm giving the new Gen3 100% Kevlar Red Alecto paddle a try as I bought it today. Excited to try Kevlar! Plus they offer a 30 day money back guarantee so give Pickln a try! No I don't work for them.
Really like the colors, will help them stand out in a sea of black rcf paddles. Thank you for bringing them to our attention, and highlighting another smaller brand
Is the Blue significantly more plush/more dwell compared to Spartus Apollo? Is the speed difference big? I am considering trying a soft dwelly paddle, but spin is very important. I can trade some speed (up to like -25% lower). What would you recommend?
It doesn't sit on the face drastically longer but you can definitely tell a difference. It does have more dwell time than the Apollo. Ya, the handspeed will definitely be a step down. Idk what paddles you've used but if all you've used is widebody then you're going to hate the hand speed difference. But if you've used another hybrid shape then this won't be a big deal with you. If I'm not mistaken they have a love it or return it 30 day policy as well.
It's a blend similar to the green. It's not 100% kevlar. Heres what their site says "Introducing the Vindiction® Viper 16 mm Advanced Performance Aramid Kevlar™ compressed with T-700 Japanese Carbon Fiber"
The way he describes the green (blend) - it seems close to the Gen 3. I have a viva pro gen 3 and I think the Viva would be more powerful just by how he describes it. Swing weight wise, the Viva is about 120 (or higher) , the Green blend is 117. Twist weights seem comparable. Overall very close call there. Hudef been around a little more I think and the Gen3 would be a great choice. I did a review on the gen 3.
Hi there, I want to tell you I really enjoy your videos and I have a couple questions. I'm looking to upgrade from my original paddle, an original Diadem Icon. I assume these paddles will play much differently than what I am used to. What I want out of a paddle is something with good power and quick at the kitchen. I am also value conscious, seeing as there are decent priced paddles out there for much less than $150. I'm super interested in these paddles and have kind of settled on either of these two or the Spartus Apollo. Which would you recommend for me. I don't utilize a lot of spin in my game, just what naturally comes off the paddle and my control on the line is pretty average. Appreciate any feedback, thanks.
Great review and good paddles. For Kevlar paddles I like Hudef Viva Pro Gen 3.
Nice choice of paddles - love the colors they put into it. I'd like to see the blue kevlar in a widebody for that extra sweetspot
Yes!! That would be awesome!
I haven’t seen it in person, but the blue Kevlar one is definitely in my top five for best looking paddles.

First! Thanks for your review. These paddles are cool. Love the Hudef Mage Pro I bought from you.

Ya the colors are definitely a bump up from what we are used too 😂

Just wondering how the blue kevlar compares with the Honolulu J2K? Have you had a chance to hit with the J2K yet?
I haven't gotten to play it (yet) but the blue kevlar feels very similar to the 6.0 ruby 16mm
I enjoyed your paddle review. Thank you.
Found another brand with a crazier price. The Vindiction Viper is 100% kevlar for $109 USD. Crazy. Wonder if it's good.

😂😂 I was wondering if anyone would notice that lol
Nice video. How does this compare to the Hudef Viva Pro Gen 3, I don't know which one to buy.

You should check a hybrid shape before Apollo, something like Sword&shield J2K.
