One of the best videos out there. Love the side by side comps of pros and different level amateurs, and also the training drill snippets. Thanks, man.
Good observations. Ben and Fed always looked so smooth and effortless and this video breaks down how and why they look like that
Excellent presentation, thanks! Contrasting successful and unsuccessful footwork side-by-side really showcases it's importance. Will definitely film myself and correct my no doubt many inefficiencies.
Excellent breakdown and analysis, definitely something I'll keep in mind from now on. Thanks!
in that small mind...
Nice work, Shea. Keep it going!
AMAZING CONTENT AND VIDEO. I will be sharing. Thank you
Love the 2nd tip. Thanks!
Well done Shea. Great video
🔥video and a good breakdown!
This is one of the very best pickleball- footwork videos I've seen. Very valuable!
yeah valuable to amateurs like you...
Your analysis is all about the fundamentals and stresses the importance of how to train so our movements are efficient. I can’t love this video enough!
Awesome Vid, Bro thanks
Well crafted presentation of good info, thnx
Great vid Shea! Footwork is really the differentiating factor between the pros and the rest of us.
I’m not going to say it’s the only difference but it definitely sets us apart!
I need more videos like this! So many valuable tips
yeah valuable to amateurs like you...
@@evan-xr4yeexactly!
Great video. Excellent tips!
The pball spit step is similar to volleyball, especially in the ability to balance your frame.
yeah excellent to amateurs like you...
Excellent breakdown!!!!
I am struggling with my returns against aggressive serves so working towards implementing your valuable tips.
yeah excellent to amateurs like you...
Eccellente analysis. Please make more videos like this.
In a way, reminds me of basketball defense foot work
Great video and helpful 👌
I've been trying to tweak around with my footwork on returns and this video just reinforced what I need to practice! Thanks Shea! One day I will be playing against you!
Let’s go bro! Time to get to work
I prefer singles and doing all I can to improve my singles game. This is a great video. Keep em coming!!
What are your thoughts on slice vs top spin drops? What is the better one to master for someone decent at both?
Thank you for making these videos. Can I please have a paddle?
For tip 1, do you think your leg reach/height can affect how many steps you do before you hit the return? I’m a short person I don’t have that reach like those guys
Perhaps! I’m around the same height as Fed but he takes 2 where I take 1. A lot of it comes down to how explosive you are.
Exercises:
3:06
5:26
7:14
If you look at your form at 1:17 you are exactly the same as Ben Johns, yet you say there is a difference. Also, at 2:34 you put yourself down but should not have done that. Notice the serve is deep, almost on the baseline, and it has topspin. You are back against the fence which does not allow you to set up for the proper footwork. Good video!
These footwork are similar to badminton footwork.
A ‘sport’ for people that cant play tennis or tale tennis.
What is tale tennis?

Tip No. 1: If you're young and healthy stop playing a game designed for Boomers with bad knees. Tips two through three: find a life.
