- Hazara motorway | Abbotabad
180 km Hassan Abdal to Thakot (Hazara Motorway) is part of CPEC. It's Hassan Abdal to Havelian section was opened in Dec - 2017. Now Havelian to Mansehra section has been opened in Nov - 2019. This is four lane motorway with two tunnels while bypassing Abbotabad. Travel time from Islamabad to Mansehra has reduced from 4 hrs to 1 hr 50 min. This is a revolution in Pakistan's trade as well as tourism industry and very good news for the people who visit Gilgit Baltistan in summer as well as winter. Approach to Kohistan valley is more easy now. Completion of Mansehra - Thakot section (Feb 2020) will further ease out the travellers, traders and tourists.

Gilgit to islamabad travel time has reduced a lot after hazara motorway. Dasu to raikot section must also be paved under CPEC to give more relief to ppl.

@@TravelDiariesPakistan hey man if you have direct access to goverment officials kindly remind them start planning of dams and canals to bring water to baluchistan it has huge potential foe irrigation (dip irrigation) and should remind provincial goverment to build lakes where it possible when it rains it captures water and increases water capacity under ground and should remind the officials to watch how south Korea and China transformed the barren lands or mountains with trees by greening the coutnry which help the locals if they start farms using modern technologies farms will complement the plan of billion tree plantation program and and can benefit the locals. Swales techniques on mountains work fine

Ye projects 2005 me starts howy thy. Aur pervez mushraf ne ye Total Sea pack starts kiya tha. Aur TB se sb tk is project ko pak Army Handel Kar rahi ha. Civil Govt ka is me koi kirdaar nahi ha. PPP noon leauge aur pti ka 1%b koi role nahi ha is pory projects me Jo sea pack se complate ho rahy han. Tamam projects pak Army ne signed kiye han. Approved kiye han. @@TravelDiariesPakistan hey man if you have influence or direct access goverment officials kindly remind them start planning of dams and canals to bring water to baluchistan it has huge potential for irrigation and should remind provincial goverment to build lakes where it can store water for drought period and could increase the ground water level if you store water in lakes and need to use modes technologies to utilise water management such as dip irrigation and goverment officials need to watch documentaries of south Korea and China transformed the barren lands or mountains with planting trees (fruit farms ) or swales techniques on mountains slopes which could hold water in those swales to moisturize the land and increase soil fertility i have seen plenty of documentary/ videos of Pakistan where vast majority of Plain terrain are empty they can dig swales when it rains it holds water in it and can be utilised to plant trees and I have seen billion tree Tsunami plantation videos they didn't used swales that's not proper way grow forest or increase trees patch

@@TravelDiariesPakistan what i see in pakistani videos is that the corruption and no proper planning or bikes are way to old can't they thought of manufacturing bikes in varieties. And yes proper planning is the success the billion tree tsunami program is good start but thry didn't planned it well i guess if they seen documentaries of south Korea and China how they transformed or transforming land scapes i see the potential in Pakistan's biggest province it rains in baluchistan frequently yearly right? If so why didn't pakatian built lakes here canals from dams utilised properly and every farmer build small medium large ponds lakes etc to utilise the water later for the crops when rainy season ends and water shortage arise they utilise the lakes water to for crops
