Thank you so much for this series. I have been making candles really testing candles and have not had much success. I’m starting from the beginning with your series. Thank you again!
Hy Dear Erika we will appreciate if you do a video how to measure the container like 8oz tins and jar and from there how to find the right wick size for any of those size container thanks and many blessings to your family and the little angel.. you been such a blessing and this journey..thanks
Will you go into more details on wax as in the cost comparisons - are some more pricey than others? Would melting temps as in “melt to x degrees” vary per type?
Hy Dear Erika we miss you see you doing tutorial hope everything is well and is understanding you get tired specially the las 3 month of pregnancy God 🙌 hope to see you and learn more about candles etc.. thanks
Hello Erika, I started using Soy 10 but I’m also using coconut soy and pro-blend I have noticed that soy 10 gets dirty with what I think it’s wick dust? Lol after burning it whereas I don’t have the issue with the other waxes Have you noticed that on your soy OR you can think of something I might be doing wrong?😅
Hello Ericaaaa… can you recommend a good grams scale? I feel like the one I have is not giving me accurate numbers and I think I’ve seen a grams scale you use
@@MemoryBoxCandleCo hi about the formula… how to do when you blend waxes ? For example I have COCONUT Wax i add beeswax (3%) AND FO (8%) What is the right formula? Thank you
@@Layanah100 so you would first figure out how much wax and fragrance oil you would need for one candle. And then from there once you know how much wax you need you would just figure out the different percentages from there. For example if you find that you need 100 grams of wax and want to do 3% beeswax and 97% coconut wax, you would do 3 g of beeswax and 97 g coconut wax If you’re not sure about figuring out how much wax and FO to use, check out my candle math video: ruclips.net/video/zfy1zJNcMJc/видео.html
My apologies for not mentioning! I know this is confusing to a lot of people getting started. It’s just the name of the product. I truly don’t know what the numbers mean, it’s just what the manufacturers decided to call them 😅 Soy 10, Coconut 83, GB464, etc are all just types of wax and again I’m not sure what the numbers mean either, it’s just in the name 😅
After trying every single wax, nothing works for me! So, I decided to make my own custom blend of Soy & Beeswax, and is the best decision that I’ve ever made. 🤍🍃
@@MsDIYSupplies this blend is specially for jars! If you need it for wax melts, I suggest you to try TW 30 from californiacandlesupply or GW 494 from Flaming candle.

Thank you Erica. Excellent points.

How does one figure out the meaning of all those numbers she keeps repeating, when referring to the wax?

Hi can I know what is the melting point for this blend. Does it work for jar and mold? I see others recommend 20% beeswax. Thank you
@@MsDIYSupplies for me 20% it’s too much! My formula is 6% of Beeswax and it works perfect! 🤍✨🕯️
