When I make melts, they are never strong enough... Even when I add more fragrance oil than the recipe calls for. Yours look so nice and neat, thanks for the video and tips
This video popped up in the most appropriate time. I just started ordering stuff to make wax melt before I venture into candle making. I got the POB from NG and a kit for practice. Next up is my clam shells. Thanks for sharing this video. Will definitely save it.
Awesome video! I have such a hard time with perfect tops on my clamshell wax melts, so I started using silicone molds to make them individually, then sell them in travel tins. However, you gave me the inspiration to try the clamshell molds once more! I also learned some new tips and tricks from just this one video. I have subscribed to your channel, and I will definitely be watching more of your videos!
Good tops of melts comes down to basically two things: 1) wax type- experiment with a few find what you like best snd gives you the closest results you want 2) pour temp. Since wax shrinks as it cools, you get will cavities or crater looking tops if you pour too hot. Because thst meant more shrinking as it cooled. So, lower your pour temp as much as you can while still being hot enough to easily pour. This will decrease the overall contraction of the wax. With what is used in this video ( problend 650 and pillar of bliss ) I find 140-145 to be perfect for me. It might vary with other waxes of course. Hope this helps
Wade, I wanted to let you know that I started using coconut apricot wax about one month ago and I tried making clamshell wax melts with it. The melts came out perfect! This wax is so easy to use; you can practically abuse it, and it just never causes any problems! I can't believe that I struggled with basic soy wax for over a year. I am going to continue to use soy wax in the future, but I'm going to switch over to Pillar of Bliss or Soy Bliss, which is basically the same type of wax, just different vendors.
Hello! I'm curious, and I'm sorry if someone has already asked this, but how long does it actually take you to make the 5 sets of 6 wax melts? Not necessarily adding the labeling at the end, but the measuring and then melting of the wax, adding everything in and pouring? It's hard to tell, but it doesn't seem to take you very long? I've recently started looking into candle making as a business opportunity and I LOVE your videos. You give great tips and your videos are so easy to follow along with! Thank you so much for your help!
Wax melts can take a while depending on how much you are melting (and the type of wax). But I just keep my tank on all day. When making a batch just starting out and melting your wax on demand, hard to say but mostly anywhere from 5 to 20 minutes I guess. But you can do other things while it's melting. The rest is pretty quick once you get used to making them. By the time you measure it, mix in the oil and dye, and pour... thats all done withing 5 minutes per batch. So it's mostly about meling and then editing to use the products! :)
I only use Pillar of Bliss. I use them in my office, and my co-worker loves them. I buy my warmers from Scentsy when they are sale or clearance. I have them on every level in my house.
I've been making more candles and melts lately, trying to experiment and practice getting better. I can't tell you how much fragrance oil I've spilt. I'm gonna try that skewer trick when I make them next time
Hello this is an awesome presentation and I already subscribed. One question I have for now as starting to work with soy wax and using detailed complicated mold, how to make wax harder and removable from the mold. I already broke a couple of samples while de molding. Natural wax hardener preferred. Thanks a lot.
Hello, I recently came across your video and they are amazing. i have been trying to start a candle business for the last year. Thank you for helping me fix some of my problems. I did not have a clue that wax melts and candles use two different wax. Can you please tell me what was you use for each please.
Thank you for your videos, I have learned so much from you. I have just started making candles and am moving onto wax melts. I don't color my candles at all, but wanted to color my melts. I have seen a few people color them with mica powder. While I would never use mica in a candle with a wick and flame, is it ok to use for wax melts? Thanks!
Where do you get your labels and what program did you use to create them? I think this is a great idea. Very informative. By the way I’m just south of KC. Just trying to get started in my candle business.
Hi Kimberly, for printing myself I use onlinelabels.com Check out this video:ruclips.net/video/h_WqIo_wHGw/видео.html For the ones I design and have printed from a lab, I use StickerMule and lightning labels the most . Also, shoot me an email to youtube@blacktiebarn.com Where about south of KC?
Sitting here recovering from surgery and rewatching some of your videos. With cats around we love melts more than candles. Wish we could get ours to come out like yours and we might sell. For personal use does t really matter with color, etc. Do you ever look back and wish had just gone wax melts alone instead of candles too
Understand Kevin for sure. And no... with personal use, etc color doesn't matter. To answer your other question, nope not at all for me. I've more flirted with the idea of stopping melts not candles. Lol
Great video! I know how to make wax melts but watched for your kitchen! It’s beautiful! I’ve never tried Problend wax but I love Flaming Candle so I might have to check it out! Thanks for sharing!
Ha! Well thank you. I'll try to get more of the kitchen in other shots. The other side is beautiful! :) and, yes give that wax a shot. What do you use now if you don't mind sharing?
@@BlackTieBarn I’m using 6006 with a bit of 4794. 90% 6006/10% 4794. I really like that blend for throw and hardness. I love straight 4794 for my tea light warmers. I dabble in soy sometimes to just use it up- that’s GF 444- it’s not my favorite but decent for soy lovers.
There ate coco soy and coconut apricot waxes. As far as wicking if you using beeswax you might want to stick to cd wicks, square braid wicks . If soy and coconut, more options premier 700, cd, cdn, htp, etc.
What are the names of the oil that you used and I see you put other products to the wax. Do you have any paper with the list for all the name of the products that you used. I am new doing candle and I want to learn more about thank for you videos.
Again thankew for the techniques shown. I was not quick enough to complete my question to yyou before that video ended. My primary question was, approx how many stock colors do you work with . . . or does it depend on the time of the year? - - - gr
I have around 15 different dyes and then just mix them for different color. Depending on the season, the primary colors will differ. During Christmas, more greens and reds. Fall is more oranges and yellows, etc. :) There are of course colors that work with all holidays too
I think I can do this in South af2. I don't see a presence online... I'm sure there are people somewhere... But I don't see anything out there. And it seem really fun to do and mind blowing kinds of designs to try. I just hope I can get all the supplies. It seems tricky to understand how to get started though. Is there a video for beginners and how and what to get first to start out?
About 1/3rd of my videos are meant for beginners. But easiest might be to just try a kit from a supplier. They come with instructions and help you test out the craft
Good Evening Wade, I mixed 6006 and 4625 for melts and Absolutely Amazing throw but a bit a wee bit sticky. If I add more 4625 am I going to lose this incredible hot throw. I currently do 70/30. Thanks for the advise awesome as usual.
I've never lose HT adding more 4625. It holds less FO but it ht is amazing at a low percentage. I had great success with 50/50 so maybe give it a shot as well 😉
I can only find 2 videos you have posted on wax melts. What is your favorite or top 2 wax melts wax to use? I'm starting out and want to start strong with my training and testing.
Both of those are fine. Most I know that use c55 like it a bit better then two30 or bw921 but it's truly preference. Another option is pillar of bliss / provlend 650

Do you mind sharing what that little camera and stand is you use to show your process from the top? That looks so convenient! Thanks for another great video. Lots of people are asking about wax melts but I don't use them... I worried about buying another melter and even more wax.... I forget the good old days where I used the stove lol
It's called a Mevo. But honestly. I don't like it much and haven't used it anymore in a while. The quality is just okay and the app sucks. Lol. But it's great otherwise because it syncs multiple stream together automatically. It cost around 1k
hi, i use soy wax for my wax melts but the wax is sticking to the clamshell. How should I improve my wax melts so it doesn't stick to the clamshell? thanks I love ur vid
Hey Declan. Which labels are you referring to? I use a few places like lightning labels, sticker mule, etc. For the wax melts I think I used uprinting.com bug they are pretty standard so any printer is fine. My candle labels are mostly lightning labels and sticker mule
@@BlackTieBarn well, all your labels are great design. But I'm mostly talking about the candle labels. I have canva account but I don't know if have options for more premium design labels. Your labels nice. I'm not Trying to copy your design but it's just to find somewhere that not that expensive.
@@BlackTieBarn I was looking at sticker you last night. 20 2"x2" labels for $16+ and 40 for$20+ not sure if that's a good price. Can you design on sticker you?
Hi wade, I made a test candle last night with 3" across the top and a LX 28-6" wick, IGI 4630 Paraffin wax from candle science. now I'm burning it but the flame 🔥 keep dancing around and gives some smoke. It dance around more than it stay still. What could cause this.?
Wade do each one of your melts weigh the exact same? I ask because when I took my melts that I made out of the clamshells to weigh them they are not exactly the same weight. For example one weighed 2.30 oz/ 66 g and another one that looks like it would be the same weight weighed 2.50 oz/ 72 g. So for labeling purposes do you put 2.30 on the one and 2.50 on the other? Hope this makes since.
Hello, just started making clam shells. I bought a hot plate. You have helped so so much! Can I put my metal pour pot directly on the hot plate or do I need to double boil?
You technically can.... but I wouldn't. That would be direct hear and create significant Hotspot on the bottom which can scorch the wax and also potential smoke. Without a Presto pot or melter.... I would double boil it myself.
Hi, Just getting in to the whole wax melts thing, you mentioned in the video uv inhibitor, can you possibly let me know which one you use or recommend. Thanks
Wade can I ask you if you do any black color of dye for your wax. I’m using 6028 pillar wax and trying to get a black color and having problems getting black. Any recommendations?
I do use black but only to blend or change othrr colors pr for a gray. Haven't actually tried to get a rich deep black. 6028 does have a descent amount of soy which is going to make it tougher. Your best bet would probably be dye blocks/chips instead of liquid.
This is the best video iv seen so far iv just dug out all my was stuff I bought last year nearly 60 oils so many moulds I could never get the hang of it. Think my adhd got in the way and I got confused ended up with loads of random wax melts with no labels on een sniffing them all today to work out what they are 😂 can I ask I ended up buying so many jugs someone said you need a jug for each fragrence so I had the metal one to warm waz then lured into a plastic one to add f/o ect. How do you make sure the fragrence is out of ur metal jug for the next scent to be made?? You make it all look so easy.
I have several metal pitchers just so I have extras on hand (they eventually wear out and break). I also use several when working on multiple batches simultaneously (which I don't do often as its difficult to manage). So, yes you can use a pouring pitcher over and over no problem. Just wipe them down completely while still hot to get all the wax out. Spritz with rubbing alcohol and wipe again if needed. You may still smell the aroma from the last batch but it isn't the actual wax and it isn't going to transfer to the next batch. Candle makers do this all the times it is not an issue as long as you are cleaning out the pitchers in between thoroughly. You definitely do not need one for every oil. That is insane. I would have 200 pitchers. 😆
@@BlackTieBarn Ah thanks for the confirmation I tend to over complicate things 😂 this will make things so much easier I'll try the rubbing alchol thank you 😊
Wade I love your wax melt label idea, i am of the older generation and not so good at making labels at home, so for me this idea is really helpful. However where do you put the ingredients of the wax melt i dont see them on the label?
You really don't need to put the ingredients but if it wants you you can add it to the label or like me I at more info to a label inside under the lid. :)
Really any label printer can make these. Mine have come from uprinting, lightning labels, and sticker me. The round ones I print myself using online labels
I've never seen wax like that, it looked like sugar😅 Wade is soy wax no good for wax melts? Sorry i know you are busy atm & can't wait to see your new space, i hope we get a look-see🥰 so i was thinking of making some wax melts, in the near future but i am undecided on which wax to use.
when using a wax that has a tendancy to frost, its unavoidable for the most part. It will eventually show pu most of the time. You can add other waxes or additives to help (paraffin, beeswax, vybar, etc). Or try a different blend. Most soy waxes in the GQ family 464, ,44, 494, etc will frost
It can....but I wasn't a big fan, personally.. I don't think many were because the manufacturer went out of business after its launch. I know you can still get it some places. But unless someone decides to remake it... once it's gone, it's gone. :/ It was one of the products that killed their company. So hopefully if it comes back they improve on it. I still have a box from testing. 😆
@@BlackTieBarn I’ve been using Ecosoya since I started my business 8yrs ago, I personally think paraffin is dangerous. I used Ecosoya CB135 flakes firstly then went to the improved Ecosoya Q210 Pellets - it’s the only soy wax dermatology tested safe to use in various skincare, can adhere to any candle surface, has exceptional hot n cold scent throw, no frosting issues, no sinkholes, burns evenly, scent lasts along time, colour doesn’t fade, wax won’t burn the skin if accidentally tipped over. Ecosoya did close their doors but they’ve reopened again & will be available in Australia mid February 2021. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with this wax as I love it.
Yes ecosoya waxes are back. But different company. The only waxes I've heard so far for sure returning are ecosoya CB Advanced (which I like) and CB 135. Those were their star products. Good luck to ya! I am happy the products are coming back as well! 🙂
Hello Wade! What wax would you recommend for wax melts? I've tested TW-30 soy wax but didn't like the texture it left on your fingers when breaking it out of the clam shell. I've also tested pro blend 650 and that seemed to have an odd smell to it and it has a pretty low fragrance load for a tart wax. I saw that you use 650 and pillar of bliss, is that still what you're working with nowadays?
I mention the sporadically in videos as appropriate but I don't have like a public database of recipes or anything I have some ideas for the future though.
Hii, I’m not sure if I missed it somewhere but after you pour the wax. How long does It take to fully harden? And how long do you have to wait to take them out and be ready to use?
You didn't really miss it. ... it just depends on the wax. Most waxes used for wax melts will hardern in a few hours and cash be used after 24 hours. But some people use soft waxes that are really mesnt for container candles. Those will take much longer to cool.
Thank you for the amazing tips! I’m new and truly appreciate all the information that you are sharing. One question that I have is concerning the uv inhibitor. Would you recommend using for non colored candles/melts? Would it at all help in keeping or making my melts/candles white?
Do you think room temperature and humidity have as much to do with making melts as it does with candles? And the reason I'm asking is if I do candles I have to create a room where I can monitor the temperature if I'm making melts I may be able to do them on our kitchen countertop but it's a colder room that's less insulated
Hello Wade, Which wax you recommend for pillar candles pro-blend 650 or pro-blend 600? I’m totally new doing candles. I tried coconut soy blend from Direct Candle Supply liked it so far
Love all your videos! Just beginning to make wax melts. I'm using the parasoy 650 from flaming candle. I am experimenting with Cashmere Glow from Maple Street and really like it! Labeled wax product's 3-12%. Am I able to go up to 15% or is this dangerous from possible fire hazard? Thanks so much for your assistance. Greetings from Buffalo NY!!!
Wax melts are more forgiving with fragrance loads because there is no open flame from a wick. So you can definitely experiment. But in my own business, if I have to use that much, I'm using something else. Lol
I am trying to start a wax business. I am starting with wax melts. I just made my first couple batches. I am using the 10% fragrance formula. I am not satisfied with the final product.....it doesn't seem like it provides the best fragrance. Any suggestions.....should I try more fragrance oil? Thanks.
Candle or melts? 10% is considered a lot already. Maybe give them some time to sit and try again. Some waxes need thst. Also, every wax has a max %of oil you can add anyways. Often adding more doesn't really gel. Try a few more oils, give them several days or a week and see how it goes
I’m new making the melt the wax I have is freedom wax soy natural do you think this are a good wax to start using. And do you have like a charge to said how much of was and the temperature are In you vide I see you put something from a small container to you wax I know you said the name but I am not get the correct name. I bought the same container for the Walt’s that you used. Do you have the formula for for the correct amount to used for the color and the wax’s temperature to pour. Sorry for all the questions
Might want to give a warning, fragrance oil will eat through certain types of plastic. You can use a plastic cup if you pour it immediately, but it will eat through some cups and leave a mess if you let it sit too long. I use glass just to be sure.
You are right James. I do mention in quite often, might not have made it clear in this video (other than saying this wasn't normal materials). Thanks Sir
Thanks Wade. This is a great idea. Print 1000s of the standard label and then just add the name to the label. Do you design and print the tiny circle labels yourself or do you also buy those?
Of all the prevented waxes, it's my current favorite for melts. Subject to change of course. 😆 I've also made several blends myself which I loved but take a lot more work and various waxes. I don't really have a favorite FO suppliers. There are many I like and don't like from pretty much every supplier. The 3 I carry the most of are candle science, natures garden, and aztec
You can add more with wax melts then you can with candles. But.... it will still vary by wax type. Each wax has a capacity limit. You don't want them "leaking" fragrance oil. So just need to experiment and find how much it will let you add. Keep in kind... thst will create very expensive wax melts. Lol
Thanks for the informative video! I love all of your videos and they are so helpful. Question, did you use 1/4 teaspoon or 1/2 teaspoon of UV inhibitor in this batch of wax melts? I thought I heard you reference both measurements. Thanks for sharing 😀
Wade may I ask what type of wax your using?
Of courese.... I use several. But the wax in this video is Problend 650 or Pillar of Bliss :)
@@BlackTieBarn thank you! I use Problend but I normally get this sink in them even when I pour them way full. Any advice?

Awesome video! I have such a hard time with perfect tops on my clamshell wax melts, so I started using silicone molds to make them individually, then sell them in travel tins. However, you gave me the inspiration to try the clamshell molds once more! I also learned some new tips and tricks from just this one video. I have subscribed to your channel, and I will definitely be watching more of your videos!
Good tops of melts comes down to basically two things:
1) wax type- experiment with a few find what you like best snd gives you the closest results you want
2) pour temp.
Such a good clear concise informative video one of the best iv seen ,thanks for taking the time to show us its much appreciated iv learned so much .

I'm gonna try that skewer trick when I make them next time
❤️👍
Hello this is an awesome presentation and I already subscribed. One question I have for now as starting to work with soy wax and using detailed complicated mold, how to make wax harder and removable from the mold. I already broke a couple of samples while de molding. Natural wax hardener preferred. Thanks a lot.
Hello, I recently came across your video and they are amazing. i have been trying to start a candle business for the last year. Thank you for helping me fix some of my problems. I did not have a clue that wax melts and candles use two different wax. Can you please tell me what was you use for each please.
Coming soon. Check out next q&a
i like the label idea
Thanks lisa!
Love all your videos
Thanks so much!
Thanks!
Really great video!
Thank you!
Where do you get your labels and what program did you use to create them? I think this is a great idea. Very informative. By the way I’m just south of KC. Just trying to get started in my candle business.
Hi Kimberly, for printing myself I use onlinelabels.com Check out this video:ruclips.net/video/h_WqIo_wHGw/видео.html
For the ones I design and have printed from a lab, I use StickerMule and lightning labels the most . Also, shoot me an email to youtube@blacktiebarn.com Where about south of KC?
Love your videos!
Thank you!
Great video, I love your efficient procedure 👍
Thanks so much
Sitting here recovering from surgery and rewatching some of your videos.

Hi guys. What do you think about that tart soy wax t-30 from Calif Candle Supply? It says it holds 18% fo load... Any thoughts?

I'm trying to avoid any Paraffin. any suggestions. trying to work with Bees wax. separate Soy/coconut. Hemp Wicks.
:) There are of course colors that work with all holidays too
What size iare your labels? Great video.
Thank you
I think I can do this in South af2.
The gal at Memory box likes TW30 or BW921 from Cal càndle co.

Great tutorial, thank you!
No problem!
Wow those look perfect!

Also what dye brand do you use? Mine never blends correctly. It always ends up being left in the bottom.
hi, i use soy wax for my wax melts but the wax is sticking to the clamshell. How should I improve my wax melts so it doesn't stick to the clamshell?

Hey! been thinking about getting an apron recently. Love yours! Any special place to get one custom with my logo?
Not really. At least off the top of my head try, uprinting, or printful or discount mugs.:)
@@BlackTieBarn Thanks Wade, I'll look into those few places.
Keep up the good work! 😊
I am wondering if you need/required to have a "warning" lable on your wax melts?
Technical, yes.. probably a good idea. I've made tons without them because I didn't have any. But that doesn't mean it was a good idea. Lol

I wanted to ask you long ago of where you have your labels design and print at or if you design them, where you got them printed and on that roll.?
Te sigo desde España, me encantan tus creaciones. Muchas gracias por tus videos..👍🤗😊
:) You are welcome!
Thanks so much! You have helped me so much, from your videos you don’t even know! Thanks again
@@kenidymarie thanks darci. I appreciate that feedback. ;)
Hi, Just getting in to the whole wax melts thing, you mentioned in the video uv inhibitor, can you possibly let me know which one you use or recommend. Thanks
It should all be the same for candles. But I mostly use the one from Flaming candle co
@@BlackTieBarn ok thank you. Will try different dye blocks. Thank you again for all your videos they keep me going on top of all the great teaching!
Oh, and thank you for the kind feedback. :)
@@BlackTieBarn Ah thanks for the confirmation I tend to over complicate things 😂 this will make things so much easier I'll try the rubbing alchol thank you 😊
@@BlackTieBarn Ur welcome will look forward to more videos :)
@@BlackTieBarn thank you for responding.
Love the demo. Where did you purchase your labels from...that's a great idea (economical). Tks
Really any label printer can make these. Mine have come from uprinting, lightning labels, and sticker me. The round ones I print myself using online labels

so i was thinking of making some wax melts, in the near future but i am undecided on which wax to use.
Just use a pillar wax. Not a container wax. Some good ones too try, problend 650 (not 600), c55, tw30
@@BlackTieBarn thanks Wade, you rock!!
Hi there how do I eliminate frostings on my wax melts ? I’m using 494
when using a wax that has a tendancy to frost, its unavoidable for the most part. It will eventually show pu most of the time. You can add other waxes or additives to help (paraffin, beeswax, vybar, etc). Or try a different blend. Most soy waxes in the GQ family 464, ,44, 494, etc will frost
The safest Soy Wax to use is Ecosoya Q210 it can be used in any candle vessel and wax melts cavity.
@@BlackTieBarn the business only closed due to COVID & is opening once they have full stock again.
Good luck to you to
I'd say my favorites are still provlend 650 and c55
@@BlackTieBarn Awesome! does the c55 wax leave a texture on your fingers like 100% soy tart wax tends to do?
What would the measurement for half of this amount be? I have only 1 oz bottles of fragrance oil to try with Problend 650 melts.
You could do 10oz of wax and 1oz of FO. Should be enough to make like 4 melts
@@BlackTieBarn thank you so much! Will try this measurement today!
I wish I could hug you!! Thanks
Haha! Well if ever in KC. 😁😆
Hello I love your vids! I want to get into the craft of making candles. Are your recipes public? Or do you just experiment? Thank you!
I mention the sporadically in videos as appropriate but I don't have like a public database of recipes or anything I have some ideas for the future though.
@@BlackTieBarn Great! Thank you! How long have you been doing candles?
Not really. It's meant to help colors from fading due to uv light. It won't hurt but might have little to no impact. And thanks for the support!
Your welcome! Thank you for the quick response❤️
Do you think room temperature and humidity have as much to do with making melts as it does with candles? And the reason I'm asking is if I do candles I have to create a room where I can monitor the temperature if I'm making melts I may be able to do them on our kitchen countertop but it's a colder room that's less insulated
Not really. It can affect the wax bit but since there is no wick, it rarely matters. Wicking is the issue
Hello Wade,
Which wax you recommend for pillar candles pro-blend 650 or pro-blend 600?
I’m totally new doing candles. I tried coconut soy blend from Direct Candle Supply liked it so far
650. 600 is too soft and is meant for container candles.
Thank you so much, my Saturday it has been watching your videos!!! So happy to find you, thank you again 🤩
Hi.. Thanks for the great videos.. ❤️✨
What are some good waxes to use for wax melts?
Try pillar of bliss or pro blend 650

I bought the same container for the Walt’s that you used. Do you have the formula for for the correct amount to used for the color and the wax’s temperature to pour. Sorry for all the questions
Might want to give a warning, fragrance oil will eat through certain types of plastic. You can use a plastic cup if you pour it immediately, but it will eat through some cups and leave a mess if you let it sit too long. I use glass just to be sure.
You are right James. I do mention in quite often, might not have made it clear in this video (other than saying this wasn't normal materials). Thanks Sir
I learned the plastic cup/ fragrance oil lesson a while back. My kitchen smelled like black raspberry vanilla for a couple of months lol.
thank you for the video. what molds are you using?
Just standard 2.5oz clamshell containers. :)
Thanks Wade. This is a great idea. Print 1000s of the standard label and then just add the name to the label. Do you design and print the tiny circle labels yourself or do you also buy those?
Thanks. Yep, I just do the smal ones myself. :)
Awesome as usual!! Is problend 650 your favorite wax for melts? Who is your favorite supplier for fragrance oils?
Of all the prevented waxes, it's my current favorite for melts. Subject to change of course. 😆 I've also made several blends myself which I loved but take a lot more work and various waxes.
I don't really have a favorite FO suppliers. There are many I like and don't like from pretty much every supplier. The 3 I carry the most of are candle science, natures garden, and aztec
can you put like 2oz or 3oz of the oil in to make the scent stronger? if not how would you get a stronger scent? I like mine loud lol.
You can add more with wax melts then you can with candles. But.... it will still vary by wax type. Each wax has a capacity limit. You don't want them "leaking" fragrance oil. So just need to experiment and find how much it will let you add. Keep in kind... thst will create very expensive wax melts. Lol
Where did you get your printer to make your waxmelt labels?and what kind of printer is it?
Thanks for the informative video! I love all of your videos and they are so helpful. Question, did you use 1/4 teaspoon or 1/2 teaspoon of UV inhibitor in this batch of wax melts? I thought I heard you reference both measurements. Thanks for sharing 😀
I use 1/2 tsp per pound. :)
@@BlackTieBarn Thanks! Making a batch now!
Hi Wade, what does the UV inhibitor do and where do you purchase it?

So you do not have to wash the pitcher between cents? You just wipe it out, hot of course?
Yep. Wipe out. If wax starts cooling just hit eith heat gun.
