    You can also use a Mr. Clean Eraser and it’ll help buff out those oil stains. I use matte black vessels as well.

    Use a stainless steel piston funnel! It's SIGNIFICANTLY easier then pour directly from a pitcher. Just pour the prepared wax into the piston and position it where you want to pour. No spills, and it has significantly better grip and stability.

    • @MemoryBoxCandleCo
      @MemoryBoxCandleCo  3 года назад +4

      Yes I’ve used that many times before! It doesn’t hold as much wax and still hurts my back though 😆 but I agree it’s easier than a pitcher and it’s more precise!

    i dont know if you have ever seen printed sticky sides. you could loose a step by getting the sticky side of your stickers printed with what you usually put on the inside of the lid. i will try to explain differently but basically its a sticker that has both sides printed on, You can see the sticky side through a clear lid

    These videos are so fun to watch. I use 2x3" labels only because I don't have a printer so I have to have Online Labels print them for me and they don't do custom labels for the label size you have 😔 I also use the same tart wax as you and I use 10% FO. I think 10% is great, but maybe I should try 13-15% now. I did have a question, do you happen to have a link for those silicone beakers? Or the name of the beakers? I currently use glass beakers to pour my FO in them and cleaning them is the worst.

    Hello! I am using the TW30 wax from California Candle as you do and I made a small batch of wax melts (for personal use only) yesterday using the maximum fragrance load of 18% but can hardly smell the scent after they cooled and hardened. I'm using Makesy fragrance oils. I melted to 190 degree range, added fragrance at 180 degrees and poured at 160 degrees. I did not mix for 45-60 seconds though as you said you do. The instructions from California Candle said to stir fragrance for 15-20 seconds. I'm going to let them cure till next weekend and try one but wonder why I can barely smell the scent? I've made some in the past with 15% fragrance load and even though I could smell them pretty good, they didn't put a lot of scent off in the very large area I'm trying to scent which is why I bumped it up to 18%. Any suggestions? Thank you!

    A problem i am having when making my wax melts is that once I have the product made and in the warmer I noticed it produces a brown spot at the bottom of the melted wax. I do leave mine on because the area I live in is close to a sewage plant so I have them going all day. Is that possibly the dye that’s forming in the wax from being left on constantly? Still has a great hot throw on the scent it just bothers me of the spot that forms after a couple of days. Thank you
