Lady🎉 you make my days! I’ve learned so much and love your clear directions. Just when I’m not sure what to explore or which next step to take, one of your vids pop up and I know that’s what I needed to learn at that moment!!
Thanks for such a comprehensive video! Your energy is so pleasant :) Also as a first time candle maker, something not often mentioned in vids is that soy wax produces an uneven candle surface texture and that’s completely normal!
Great video, started off with golden 464 soy, I like it, was already buying candles that are soy or more natural before making them, so didnt notice to much less of a scent throw. The wax is definitely not the easiest starting out, but doing some trial and error and taking note with each candle def helps to get the sweet spot. Judging from all the reviews I do want to try coconut soon, and maybe even a mixture down the line to get my favorite one, but so far soy is good to get you started and I also really like the slow burn, lasts a long time, and isnt to expensive. Paraffin sounds so tempting but the harsh chemicals would be completely opposite of the brand so its a no go, but thanks for touching on that too.

Hello! Add a lot of oil doesn’t not make it smell stronger. It actually does more harm than good; because then it can sweat or catch on fire. It’s just the nature of soy and you can’t do too much about it. Anywhere from 6%-12% fragrance load🙂
