- How do create a drop-shadow frame in Photoshop.
This is very easy to do - takes next to no time.
Everyone in the house was sleeping when I recorded this, so I was trying not to wake anyone up.
Ballintoy Harbour, I delivered mile there way back in 1963, Lovely photo, thanks

@@revdoc7045 For some reason, Ps deleted all my stored actions. I forgot how to actually do this, so I had to come back to watch and relearn it. Thanks again!

Thank u so much for sharing this with us :)
You're welcome
I didn't understand the first canvas step, using black. Are you creating a border around the image? Is that the same thing as the "stroke" function in Layer styles?
Yes, I think it probably is the same - and to be fair, that maybe a better option. The point of it is because I found that without the stroke the image looked a little weird at some of the edges (at least in my eyes). When I put the thin black line around it, it looked better. This is, of course, my opinion. Try with or without and see what you think.
Curious. What are the percentage numbers for a panoramic?
That's a really good question. I would suggest changing it to a set value in pixels or mm. That way the frame will be consistent in width and height.
do you have any idea why the shadow is not visible horizontally even though I use exactly the same settings indicated in the clip? vertically everything is perfectly functional
I'm not sure...Try tweaking the opacity so you can see it more clearly and then see where the shadow is falling. And then tweak the distance and size so you can see more clearly how the shadow changes as you change those settings. It might be that the angle is not quite right either. Let me know how that goes.
