    but the problem is the border is NOT equal on each side. Is there a way to make a white border thatd EQUAL width on all sides?

    • @TMKRUNSTHEWORLD
      @TMKRUNSTHEWORLD  7 месяцев назад

      Yes, you can make an equal border on all 4 sides simply by adjusting the size of the scale. I simply experiment with moving the scale slider lower and higher until I get an even border on all 4 sides.
      Hope this helps you. 👍🏽

      It might happen because you croped the image first.

  • @formless4541

    Is this possible without scaling the image, so adding the border without cutting off anything?

    Thanks, but this method only works with photos that weren't cropped. What abt cropped images?

    • @pauln44
      @pauln44 7 месяцев назад

      I exported the cropped image and imported that to edit. There might be a quicker way, but that way worked for me.

    hello thank for you video ! but when you crop an image you cant add white border ? :/

    • @TMKRUNSTHEWORLD
      @TMKRUNSTHEWORLD  Год назад +2

      Yes that is correct. If you crop an image from the original size. This will no longer work. I have tried to find a way to make it work even with the crop but have not found a sucessful method yet.

      @@skullerhead6150 Black border will not work on lightroom as the default background of the image is white. You are not allowed to change to black unfortunately.

    This doesn't work for film scans. I just brings back the film scanned border. Do you have a fix?

    • @TMKRUNSTHEWORLD
      @TMKRUNSTHEWORLD  Год назад

      I think the reason this method wont work with film scans is due to the fact that they already have a film scan border included in them so cropping the image first to remove it and then downsizing to add the white border, will only result in a distorted look. I am not entirely sure I know a way around this to be honest!

    Thanks, unfortunately the border has not the same size on the sides compared to top and bottom. Best borders in my opinion can be done with lightroom mobile. I edit my photos in LrC and make the final touches with LrM.
