One of the most amazing actresses I've ever seen. Can portray more emotion which is facial expressions that any modern actor. So many actors in today could learn from the way she just expressed herself physically and emotionally without the benefit of having talking pictures.

I can say the same of Valentino with the way his beautiful face expressed deep emotions.

Delightful. I cannot believe how well they did for a movie made in 1919. They have taken this outstanding story, and added a comic twist, which made it so a very unique creation.

I enjoyed Mary Pickford's movie Pollyanna very much. She was there when the silent movie industry first started. Her natural way of acting helped to revolutionize the way films were made. At such a young age to form United Artists Movie Company. A very smart business lady on and off camera. Yes along with Charlie Chaplin, D. W. Griffith and Douglas Fairbanks, they formed United Artists.

I was happy to know that Rudy Valentino was signed to United Artists. Unfortunately, the Dark Lover died some time after that.

Yes. And later Rudolph Valentino signed on right before his tragic death.

33:47 that baby is not credited but it absolutely has to be jackie condon from the little rascals!! so easy to recognise, a face with character and hair with a mind of its own. he’ll start a career of his own about two years after this.

Looking back, by 1926'ish, she should had gone a Miley Cyrus route.
Bleach her hair and become a vixen blonde. She could had lasted another 2 decades thus.
