I would never understand why people think he’s “innocent”. Let’s speak facts…
-Caught in a pair of pliers recovered from Peterson’s boat, police found hair matched to Laci’s through mitochondrial DNA testing, an inconclusive but still genetic match but Laci allegedly never knew about the boat.
-Although he originally lied and told police he left home on Christmas Eve at 9:30 am, cellphone records placed him at or near home at 10:08 am, just 10 minutes before a neighbor found Laci’s dog running loose in the street and returned him to the Petersons’ yard. After eventually driving to Berkeley Marina and fishing there for less than an hour, he arrived back home at around 4:30 pm, washed his fishing clothes, ate some pizza, and then called Laci’s mother to tell her that her daughter was “missing.”
-He began researching fishing boats to buy on December 7, 2002. On December 8, he did extensive web searches for fishing supplies and tidal currents around the bay area, even zooming in on Brooks Island, where authorities believe he took Laci’s body on Christmas Eve.
-He paid cash for a small fishing boat on December 9, the same day that he told Amber Frey that he had “lost” his wife and that this would be his first Christmas without her. Lacy did not go missing until Dec 24th.
-Prosecutors also found evidence that he’d made multiple cement anchors, only one of which was located, and which they believed he used to weigh down Laci’s body.
-He made repeated non-fishing trips to the marina, 90 miles away, only to “stare into the bay” and then leave again after a few minutes. This was in January, months before Laci’s body would eventually be found in the bay.
-The same day their bodies were identified, Scott Peterson dyed his hair, borrowed his brother’s photo ID, and headed for the Mexico border with over $10,000 in cash.
And this is not even the end of all the evidence in this case. Also so many questionable actions during Lacy’s disappearance.
-Who leaves a pregnant wife all alone and go fishing on a foggy cold windy weather in the bay on Christmas Eve?
-Why would he right away classify Lacy as “missing” when calling her mom that day rather than saying “She’s not here or I can’t get a hold of her or have you seen her?”
-Why would he sell her car or try and sell their home before she was even found? It’s like he knew she wasn’t coming back home.
-Why was he not actively participating in her search or volunteer to do a polygraph test?
Shame on people thinking he’s innocent. He either killed her himself or he hired some people to do it for him, but he definitely had a role in Lacy’s murder.

BTW - this motive has nothing to do with his affairs. He had affairs before her, and possibly affairs at the same time as Amber! This is because Scott Peterson is a babied manchild who grew up. His mommy took care of him, then Laci took care of him. Did his laundry, cleaned house, stroked his massive ego. What happens when you have a child? You have to start acting like a father & not a man baby! He didn’t want a child, ever. The closer it got to Laci giving birth, the more panicked he was getting that his Playboy bull-s**t lifestyle was going to end! A child means responsibility, no more late nights, less money, probably less girlfriends. This is not about Laci, this is about Connor. He did NOT want that kid-end of story!

Exactly. He even told Amber Fry that he "didn't want to have kids", and wanted "a vasectomy". He simply didn't want to be a father, that's all. He wasn't willing to give up his bachelor-type freedom for a baby, and thought the easiest way out was to get rid of both mother and child. Not only that, the man's a coward. Wanting or not children in your relationship is something that has to be discussed before marriage. It's very clear, from interviews given by Laci's parents, that she had always wanted to become a mother. I'm sure she mentioned it while dating Scott. Why didn't he say anything? Such a coward...

Two things that stand out that point to Scott being responsible:
    1) Laci was 8 1/2 months pregnant and due to deliver in a couple of weeks. Her lower back and feet were probably aching, and she was probably exhausted beyond words--especially when she probably had to pee every half hour! She was not going on a 2-mile trek with a dog; she wanted to stay home and rest until the party.
    2) The dog. Laci had a Golden Lab who was faithful to her. Had anyone attempted to abduct her, the dog would've laid his life down or torn the person up. After watching Laci get abducted, the dog would've been pacing, whining, and in distress--along with having bloody evidence on his muzzle and fur. However, Scott could've put the dog outside during his fight with Laci. The dog, upset by the loud voices, could've opened the gate to look for someone to help--hence, everyone recalls seeing the dog but not Laci. Scott cleaned up, brought the dog in, and when he left to dispose of the bodies, he left the gate open so the dog would be roaming around to help give him an alibi.
It was either that, or he paid the two men to abduct Laci. There is no middle road.

After all this happened, she showed me several articles about other bodies that were found in the area prior to Lacy. Some of them with very similar circumstances, pregnant women found and at least one time an unborn fetus was found separately. My aunt is dead now but she and several of her coworkers were convinced he was innocent and there was a serial killer up there preying on pregnant women, maybe trying to unsuccessfully take their babies. I only ever saw one media story mention these other murders right after Lacy was found. They all seemed to ignore them after the story blew up nationally. Of course it's possible Scott knew about these other killings and tried to model hers after them. This was a month and a half before her disappearance. In the beginning of December she told her good friend Kristen Reed she had started walking again because she was concerned about her weight gain.

He didn't want anyone to know he was at the Marina. Golfing was going to be his alibi. However, when he knew he was seen at the Marina launching his boat, he had to change his alibi. He said it was an unplanned trip, yet he purchased the fishing license a few days before and was for only 2 days. He's a scum bag cheating liar but that's not what made him guilty. Amber Frey delivered the motive but the evidence all points to Scott - there could have been no one else who killed Laci. All theories have been debunked - both at the original trail as well in the several attempts he and his sister in law, Janie, have attempted. The attempts have all been based on lies and spinning the truth. One has to ask themselves would a pregnant woman approach burglars when she could call the police from the safety of her own home. Would drug addicted burglars - who had no car - one of them was casing possible houses to rob on his bike!!! The car they borrowed to get the safe belonged to a mother of one of the burglars, kidnap and murder a pregnant woman and hold her hoping the media would provide a story that they could use to frame him? Would they drive her 90 miles away - they would have to borrow a car - get a boat - and go to a place they probably had never been before (without being seen) and dump her body. AND wouldn't they want her to be found right away given they were framing her husband? But instead they weighed her down so she could not be found!!! Let's use some logic - he's 100% guilty no doubt about it. The golden boy didn't want to be a dad. He would be losing all the attention he has been used to getting to a baby. He would have stayed married and cheated on Laci until she had enough and divorced him if she had not gotten pregnant. He will keep making attempts to free himself - he loves the attention and he has nothing better to do - nothing to lose - he already killed what should have been most important to him.

Actually, I've been doing a lot of research on this case and have come to the conclusion that there isn't one piece of hard evidence that supports Scott killing his wife and unborn son, just a lot of circumstantial evidence. He was basically tried and convicted in the media and when Amber Frye revealed herself, he didn't stand a snowball's chance in hell of getting a fair trial. He's a jerk and an adulterer. but that doesn't make him a killer.

It is not the job of the justice system to establish 100 per cent certainty. He is guilty beyond a reasonable doubt and was declared so by he courts. Why all this revisiting of these obvious murderers? There are so many in your prison system who really are innocent just rotting there. Scott deserved his sentence and is exactly where he should be. Otherwise, what you're really saying is that if these people avoid the Death Penalty, then there is a good chance they will be declared 'innocent' and let out of prison. How shameful a statement that is on American Jurisprudence.

I mentioned that I would be biased against the prosecutors for two reasons. The first being this case and the other was another case of a man being sent to prison on here-say; that is a woman's testimony that got him sent to prison and she only served six months in jail for perjury after ruining a man's life.
IF SOMEONE IS FALSELY CONVICTED THEN BOTH THE POLICE AND THE PROSECUTORS MUCH BE SEVERELY PUNISHED!!!!! NO IFS, ANDS, OR BUTS!!!!!
