Ive been looking at the B&O EX for a little and the only thing holding me back is the ANC. I emailed B&O support and they said at the moment there is no plans to improve the ANC with a software update. Hopefully their next earbuds will have all the sound quality of the EX along with a respectable ANC. Comply also sells their foam tips for the True Wireless 3 if you want even more sound cancelation and potential improvement in bass from the better seal of foam tips
Yeah, the ANC is the a major issue with the EX. Hopefully, they will change their minds with enough pressure. The EQ has better ANC if you're looking to purchase a set of B&O earbuds. Thanks for the tip on the Comply foam eartips.
Great in depth video thanks for taking the time to record and share this. I have the TMW3 and really like them, it’s just that something draws me to the B&O. I think it’s coz they look really classy imo even though I’ve never been a fan of stem style earbuds, these are growing on me lol. I may save up and buy a pair someday, if I prefer them to the TMW3 I could always sell them on. Would you say the B&O are comfortable to wear after a long period of use? Apologies if you’ve answered this in your review and I missed it.
I agree, the Beoplay EX does look classy. And to answer your question, yes they are comfortable for long time usage. But I have to admit that the Momentum 3s are also good for that. But not as classy looking. LOL.
Have you been facing any connections related issues with MTW3s? And if so is that a really deal breaker. Specially I have heard that MTW3s keeps playing sounds in even a case also.
No. I haven't experienced that at all with the MTW3s. If you're still experiencing that issue, return or replace them. Thanks for the question and support.
On sound alone, I would go with the Momentum 3s. It's more of a balanced sound. The AZ60s have very good sound, but will need EQ help to match the Sennys natural sound. Both are still in my rotation.

Beoplay EQ has its own software app. And if I'm understanding your question correctly, yes, music can be paused while Transparency mode is being used. Thanks for the question and support.
@@pasko5561 Are you referring to when you remove an earbud? If that's the case, then no. The earbuds does turn off when you remove it. But they will not pause the music.
not to pause the music, but I have a Beoplay e8 sport, when transparency is activated, my music pauses... I also have momentum 2 and momentum 3 and they pause the music... and with the EQ you have to put pause on the right and transparency on the left.. .
@@ronontech if ANC doesnt matter a lot, would you say the EX are defimetly the better choice? For me ANC is not as importamt but just asking myself if the rest is so much better on the EX that they are worth twice the price
I did try the Bose QuietComfort earbuds. They have great sound and top tier noise cancelling. But they could not be used independently, so I returned them. That is most important in my day to day work flow. Between the two you asking about, although Bose sounds better than the Beoplay EX, I would choose the EX because they I can use them anywhere. Great question! I have my rotation , but my favorite right now would be the Beoplay EQs. They are the complete package, IMO. Great sound, all the features I want. Just a bit pricey. But you gotta pay to play, I guess. Thanks for the question.
I own both but sound quality is unmatched for the ex's. Imo they rival over the ear headsets as well. I never thought I'd buy pencil style buds but the sound makes me forget it. sennheiser tmw3 is my no2 of all time
I have to disagree.im one of the few that like the beo sound EQ wheel. I have mine set close to your settings and it get that bass to pound without distortion
I own both and your EX assessment is spot on. The case, however is a little quirky as far as accurate power supply readings ( a firmware update needed?). The Senns are no slouch either...fantastic sound...love them both!!!! Thats why i bought em!

The Sennheiser Momentum 3s are louder, IMO.

i have the app but my music doesn't pause after enabling transparency... my Beoplay EQ v5.3.7 and yours...

The EX have great mids and treble, but the Sennheisers have better balanced sound, IMO.
