I'm not sure what that means
The speed at which the print head moves is based on the rate at which the ink dries on the substrate. That is why it is important to download and use the proper print profiles for your brand and material. The head speed changes with different material, so if you speed up the rate at which the print head lays down successive layers, it will affect the print quality.
Seriously considering ordering the BN2 and this may be a noob question. But why wouldn't you keep it on OUTPUT DATA width at all times. ALSO - I read somewhere you could print, laminate on a separate machine and return to the bn2 to cut using registration marks. Is that true? Is laminating necessary to produce holographic stickers?

You can print laminate cut with the BN2 as well without needing a second machine. Or you can use the Roland GS2-24 shrsl.com/4jfl5 to cut after you laminate. Lamination is not required but depending on the application some people want to add it.
Hello… I seriously need your advice. I’m going to be starting my first sticker business focusing on anime holographic stickers. I need a machine that will print and die cut but I can’t figure out what’s what on the internet. I can’t afford the Roland bn2-20a so I’m asking what’s a good entry level that will do a good job until I can afford to upgrade? Thank you so much for your time.
The Roland BN-20A is the least expensive print and cut machine you will find. One other option is the iColor 250, but it's limited to 5" media. shrsl.com/4jfl3
Hi Melissa, I really want to get a BN2-20 but I only use a MacBook, does the software work on Macs or is it only windows? Also if I print something with registration marks does this have a scanner to place the material back in after laminating to cut the stickers? Thanks in advance.
Currently there is not a Mac version..however you an do pretty much everything on your MAC then send to your PC to print. Yes you can print > laminate > cut
