Antwuan Dixon I remember the first time seeing him skate he did nothing with his arms when he did stairs or jumping off anything. I'd never seen that before. Didn't need the extra balance he knew what he was doing. 😂

Chris Cole’s tre for me man. He Inspired me to battle my first 360flip that took so much time and effort and painful falls like he did at Wallenberg. What a legend.
The way they talked about battling really stuck with me, it's something every skater no matter what skill range can relate to. I've had some battles that were nowhere near as big as those guys and finally sticking one and running away is one of the best feelings I've ever felt. Cole talks about blacking out during his land and I totally agree with that. You get into a crazy zone and focus that it's sometimes even hard to remember the details of when you actually landed it.

Chris Joslin's catch on that was so good, his feet were on the bolts while was still like 5 feet in the air. and Coles catch while his legs are bent so much is great too. both are absolutely deserving
I’m almost 30 now and one memory I will forever hold close to my heart is with Chris cole man. I had to have been maybe 16-17 and there was a signing at a skatepark called union hills in Phoenix Arizona. There was a super long line for signatures and stuff like that and I don’t really remember how it happened but I was skating the park thinking like damn I probably won’t be able to meet any of them, but I was like let me just pop into the skate shop they had there at the time and cole was sitting at the end of the table I truly don’t know how the conversation got started but thinking about it now I just wanted to talk to him and get his opinion on my skatepark that I was building in my backyard. I was the only one in my crew that was good with carpentry and stuff so I was always making the ramps and what not but I just showed him some photos and absolutely one of the most nicest genuine human beings ever he is, he literally took the time to check it all out and I remember him saying hey man when you finish it I’d maybe love to check it out or something along those lines. But truly man thank you so much cole! You’re the fucking man and to see you in your shop doing woodwork is new to me I’ve been out of the loop with skating since like 2014 but I have a wood shop also and do carpentry and now I fully renovate houses for a living my ig is @whsarizona but man I would absolutely love if you ever in life need a hand with anything i will drop everything to even be able to tour your shop I know you have a million people but you truly inspired a young kid and for that I will always be grateful to you!!

Cole Wallenberg

Andrew Brophy over the picnic table and Stefen Janowski because he taught me to tre flip.

Man love these sorts of stories! Found my new addiction!
Glad you like them!
The essence of skateboarding is .75 seconds of content stretched out into a 14 minute video.
It's cool learning tricks watching pro's as a kid.
It's even cooler learning humility watching them as an adult.
💯💯💯
I think Shecklers Hollywood 16 tre flip is the most beautiful fattest, most stomped tre of all time. Joslins changed a lot for me tho
🤝💪
Chris Joslin's catch on that was so good, his feet were on the bolts while was still like 5 feet in the air. and Coles catch while his legs are bent so much is great too. both are absolutely deserving
🙌🙌🙌
That was rad !!
Thanks Dave!
You rule Dave
not seen mark appleyard in a video for ages. im talking years. great to see him still around
Best dude
@@storied_skateboarding need a 411vm comeback with all those guys who were awesome which seem to be operating stealth in the modern era

Thank you for the Brandon Westgate honorable mention. It was hands down one of my favorite tre flips ever
🙌🙌💪
Chris, if you read this listen to me: you won’t die trying to go back to el toro. You need it more than you think you do. I believe in you man.
Hahaha
it's not skatable anymore I think.
Yup
Even Jamie Thomas didn’t give it to Chris Cole because he knows how gnarly Davis Gap is since he was the first one to Ollie it.
🫨
Also the discussion wallenberg vs davis, its like, what hurts the most to fall at ? Davis since its higher
Nick trapasso flatground 360 flip in suffer the joy is burned in my head more than any .
Ooo amazing one
Marc Johnson in 411 issue #4 I think.. Either #4 or #6. Always liked Marc Johnsons part in that one, not to mention Deawon Song and Rodney Mullen as well. Classic
Nice
@@storied_skateboarding Have you seen it?
CANT DESIDE WICH ONE IS BETTER. BUT I THANK YOU BOTH FOR DOING THEM.
🙌🙌🙌
Gotta choose!
well i guess im gonna go for chris cole.@@chaseingabor jus for the nostalgia. and that time of the zero videos where my golden years in skateboarding.
Used to have a signed poster of the Chris Cole tre flip over that gap.
Brent atchley has a sick one, from the elementary videos, another I can't think of his whole name he's in the same video, levi-something, 2 good try flippers in one good video
Ooo so good
So happy Wade’s 3flip got a notable mention because that was steeziest 3flip on flat ever done imo.
🙏
Dylan rieders tre flip was pretty underrated he had a really paticular one
Sick one
