I am so happy to see how Mr. Opie gets along just fine with Tig! Perhaps Opie is helping Tig cope with being alone in is crate when you are away. It also warms my heart to see how patient you are with Tara and her apprehension about the new puppy! Good on you, Eric! You're a great pet dad! I'll be waiting for the new tee shirt with all three babies on it. ❤❤

Now that you are a dog friend and a homeowner I would like to suggest getting a side by side instead of a off road bike. As Tig gets older he's going to want to go on adventures with his favorite human. He can sit in the passenger side and you can throw your cooler and camp chair in the back and go hang out at you lake. It would also be a huge asset at your homestead. Ours has a hitch and we pull a dump cart around when we do any yard work. We use ours to go visit our neighbors too! Not to mention they are also a ton of fun!!
Thank you for taking us along on your adventures, we look forward to seeing what you will come up next. lol

That is one happy puppy. I'm so glad you made the decision to get one you're providing the perfect environment for it being that you have all that property especially the fact that you are a kind-hearted person that loves animals.. before you know it all of the animals will be snuggling together including Tara. When I first introduced my puppy to my cat she didn't accept them right away she was very standoffish and stay to herself but eventually within about a 3-month. Of time they became closer and closer and closer and they live their lives together very happily

I used to build bikes, there is not a “throttle problem” with that bike. You’ve replaced any fuel related issues. That is “the engine is bad and needs replacing” issue. I think you know this. I hope the new owners follow your channel and have seen your attempts to almost replace everything except the engine in an attempt to resolve this issue. I would considerate it a scrap level motorcycle, a hazard if it won’t accelerate when needed.

Tig is growing fast! He is a very smart dog. Hope you were able to sell Reba the Rebel. A nice little dirt bike will be great for putting around the area. I knew Opie would be the first to warm up to Tig. Tara, hopefully, will just take more time. The property is looking good! I like the fake grass. It's probably nice to get your feet (and Tig's) off the rocks once in awhile. Enjoy your first guests on the property!

You should get a water sensor for your tank. They make them wireless now, so you'd just have one hooked up at the tank (could be on a little battery with a solar panel, they use so little power even a tiny solar panel with a phone style powerbank would be plenty of power year-round) and then the receiving unit would be inside and connected to the internet so you can always see what the level is at.
Alternatively, they also make pressure-based meters that you'd hook up to the outlet; as the tank empties the pressure drops too, which isn't exactly but close to linear and can easily be visualized. Saves you having to open the lid and risking all kinds of stuff getting inside.
You should also 100% get a filter system, even just a passive one with a sediment filter would help, but also getting a UV filter might save your life one day. And don't forget to shock it with bleach once a year!

Tig is making good progress. Don't worry about the cats, they'll get used to the dog eventually. I brought a cat into my house where I had a dog and it took them 6 months but after that they were best buddies. You might checks with a local asphalt company and see how much they would charge to bring a small roller out and roll that stone. It should compact it nicely. Keep the good stuff coming.

But I don't think there's a better a better time than now that you have all this space. Just clean out the RV, purge or store some things that way you can better organize the essentials so you have more living space! Especially for the kitties and Tig. I hope I get to see that soon it's going to be sooo fulfilling! 🎉😊

Oh Eric! I am LOVIN’ your property and you new member of the family, Tig! He absolutely adores you! I really need to tell you though: PLEASE keep your doors closed and windows closed if they both do not have screens on them. Rattlesnakes, scorpions, and spiders are out and about, and open doors and windows are an invitation. I have PERSONAL experience in that department! I’ hate to hear of you, a friend or your “kids” being bit or stung by an intruder. Just installing a screen or screen door could, potentially, save a life. Anyway, Tig has really learned so much in the short time he’s been with you! Proud papa! I’m sure Tara will eventually warm-up to Tig, and they’ll become best of friends! Please take care, As-Always, Virginia

My puppy has never had an accident in the house. I feed him small meals and take him out when he wakes up. I stop feeding him at 4 or 5 pm, take him out and take him out again at 8pm. He sleeps til about 4 am. It's all about the timing of feeding and going outside. We spend a lot of time outside, too. Your puppy is so cute!

Eric the getting up at night sucks but is definitely part of puppy hood. Within the last 2 years I’ve went through it with 2 new pups a year apart 1 at a time. I got axle (pit bull) at 6weeks and went through it then when he was all trained and a year old I got him a partner (king) bully XL 10 weeks old so started the up at nights all over again. Even being 100 percent vigilant you will still have accidents and need a spot cleaner. I’d never raise a pup without one. Bissel makes the best one period. Get a bissel spot clean pet pro. You will thank me if you do. It’s a must. Mine is 2.5 years old and ready to go at all times. I do however keep distilled water in it to help keep from having corrosion issues.

Suggestion, I live in AZ during winter(snowbird) and I noticed this spring when I was cleaning the Harley up, my dash was fading and my bike sits under a roof when not being rode and covered. So I would suggest a some flexible cover for bike otherwise the AZ sun will age a bike quickly. Been in AZ five years and have never been to Sho low. Except one April it was warm enough and rode to it.

One suggestion I would offer up living in the area that you do is to put an Apple / Andriod Air Tag or a similiar product onto the puppy's collar. Then when you turn your back for a minute and later cant find the puppy you can always grab your phone and track him down wondering around and smelling all the smells before a coyote finds him. Grats on the puppy!

Exciting. Eric, it has been so much fun watching you over the weeks. Thanks for sharing you "set up" experience with us. You make it look easy, but I know it's not as easy as it looks. Kuddo's to you and your growing fury family.

you need to keep the water bowls full for the animals in that dry heat they can dehydrate very quickly

Hey Eric with all that wind you should look into a windmill that produces power to your solar system!?

I'm already at 100% with solar in the daytime. Can't produce anymore with wind generator, plus the wind dies at night when I lose solar also.
