Hello have anyone tried to change a bolex h8 to bolexH16? Recently i bought abolex h16 on ebay, is in gret conditions butwhen i checked it was not an h16 it looks like an h8 the previous owner just changed the turret to fit c mount lens and widened the gate, so now the 16mm film is exposed completelly, so now is like a widescreen 8mm, is there a way to turn it fully into an h16? I guess it would need the front H16 turret gate and film claw right? Or is it not possible ?

Hi Joe, sorry to read this about your Bolex purchase. Some Bolex cameras sold are put together from spare parts of other Bolexs. Upon this was done to your camera your choices are to file a claim. Or keep the camera for parts. The H8 and H16 are different in size. The seller of the Bolex for sure covered themselves with a "weasel clause" within the item description.
