This band is the current flagship of metal. Seeing their entire 2020 "Five of a kind" show is just mindblowing. How can they put out so many great songs on one album. And the girls .. i mean Haruna is a monster, Miyako and Midori battling during the solos but coming together in harmony, Miho keeping up with them, and Asami's voice and english getting better and better. "Raise some hell (five of a kind)" - yeah, it's one of those bands that are even better live.
Most singers: "You want me to sing over what?!" Asami: "Can you guys speed up a bit?" Anime recommendation: Jujutsu Kaisen. The anime for this song is Vlad Love.
The song was commissioned by the anime's creators for the opening theme. You just saw the long version - a shortened version is being used for the actual anime episodes.
@@ChrisPage68 i love the two groups but, if they are in same concert, lovebites will do the opening. And a lot of metal singer don't write any song. You cannot make any comparison because they didn't play the same music. Lovebites play western thrash and powermetal, therefore Babymetal sing kawaimetal which is deeply inserted in japanese culture.

Asami is very distracting. But in the best way. I really love how Haruna just pounds those drums .. you can hear the work she puts in. They all are next level talent.
Youre asking for more songs? They dont have a bad song, but youve been checking out uptempo songs to date, so i would suggest "Edge of the World" (from Five of a Kind live) and "Epilogue" (from the 2019 Daughters of the Dawn live). Theyll make you see that these ladies also can bring something different to their already bad ass power/thrash songs. A personal favourite of mine is Break the Wall (from the 2020 Five of a Kind live) but that is a thrashy song (with a twist) and you already did Thunder Vengeance. Ultimately it doesn't really matter what song youll choose, but stay away from the Bloodstock and Wacken lives, because the sound quality isnt that great.
I have yet to hear a song from Lovebites where I just say "Meh". Every frikkin song is amazing. Please give a listen to Scream For Me (Live-Daughters of the Dawn). Midori and Miyako put on a guitar clinic.
Idk, I like the music and the voice, but in a lot of their songs, the way they write the lyric is a mess, because it sound like they're trying to mumble in those words that doesn't sound right with their music going on, and that result in a tremble at the end of each word or a let down of those notes in a weird way that I can't get into

I guarantee you will be amazed, maybe even walk out the door again. Hint: ALL of them have a solo, including bass ... you are not ready for that one for sure.

Surprised you haven't caught the Asterism bug yet as they're finally doing the rounds of reactors. I'd recommend Trident too. More rock than metal a la Band Maid but when you have a drummer like Junna leave your band (they were called something else then) and then find a replacement who is equally as good, you're doing something right.

This one probably my favorite Lovebites song, but for most of their songs I can't stand the way the lead singer mumble those words that sound doesn't fit with the rhythm and music going on. She has great voice sure, and their music all epic, but the way the verse work in most songs is a let down with the way they tremble the voice or down the note to try to fit those words which sound doesn't fit to the music... it's weird, maybe it's problem with their lyric writing

I really don't like this band,at all. It comes off as a theatrical production--too slick. I'd rather listen to Band-Maid which is more down to earth and relatable.
Lovebites is a specific genre band, which not all generations can enjoy (since they had their roots in 80s metal). Where I think the modern genre of band maid can be injected with pop, punk, blues for all generations. But I guarantee Lovebites have a bright future in the UK and European metal scene, where I think Band Maid will be popular in the United States.
You have to know about genre! Not just about oh I like band maid.. More down to earth, lol. Lovebites playing power metal. Band maid playing Hard rock. That's is different genre music.
