Band BIO:
Lovebites is a Japanese all-female heavy metal band, formed in 2016 by former Destrose members Miho and Haruna. Its lineup consists of Miho on bass, Haruna on drums, Midori and Miyako on guitar, and Asami on vocals. After signing to Victor Entertainment, the group released both their debut EP and their first album, The Lovebites EP and Awakening from Abyss, in 2017 before performing their first overseas concerts at the end of the year.
FUN FACTS about band:
Although hailing from Tokyo, Lovebites' music is heavily influenced by the new wave of British heavy metal which led their music to be compared to Iron Maiden and Rage
The group frequently collaborates with former Light Bringer keyboardist Mao on composing and arranging songs.
Haruna has played drums since she was thirteen years old, and began writing songs on a keyboard at fourteen
Miyako has played classical piano since she was three and guitar since high school

I'm loving this new song from Lovebites! I'm thinking, that's probably Miyako playing the piano at the end. If you want to see how good she is on the piano. You guys gotta check out her playing Chopin's Etude and Swan Song. They both feature Miyako. She is a concert level pianist. On top of her shredding the heck out of that Dean.

@@dicodec I'm sure that there is a video of them playing the Etude with a moment or two later come in with Swan Song. Tho there is a video with them separate, and the reactor just played the Swan Song by itself. Definitely best doing Etude 1st followed by Swan Song. Sorry if I'm rambling a bit.
It is. Plus it's her at the beginning. If you listen to the first 3 bars when the band comes in, you'll notice that it's Mozart.
Plus Miyako's guitar solo directly references the Chopin piano intro, so it's clear the two are meant to be companion pieces and best viewed together.
@@athlonen I did know that was her coming in at the beginning. Tho I didn't know that it was Mozart. I'm not really big into classical. However, having watched both performances. And a number of reactions. I did know that the first was Chopin, as it was titled.
They released another new song already! "Glory to the World"
Great reaction once again. The VLADLOVE version means that later they will release the video without the anime, just the band, for now they released this one to promote the anime.

I have read that Asami, studied ballet. I guess that must of been at school age. She butterfly's around, oblivious of the carnage of noise around her. Brilliant stuff! Good to see people actually enjoy what they are watching and explain why they are entertained by the song and video.
That's pretty epic!
One thing impressed me is this song is composed by Asami (lead singer). I only saw her composed 2 ballads in this band.
I know it is arranged by all members but still, is really impressive to see a member who doesn't have tons of experience in metal start to compose a badass thrash song.
By the way, those 2 ballads ( "Epilogue" and "A Frozen Serenade" ) composed by Asami are truly hidden gems of this band, one you already react to.

Miho and Haruna are a rhythm section to be reckoned with. While the vox and six-strings get the recognition they well deserve, the bass and drums in this quintet are fucking off the chain.

Both Miho and Midori are exclusive to ESP. Miyako is exclusive to Dean and now has her own model: the actual Flying V you see her playing now. Midori is working on her own signature model for ESP, but the Flying V she's playing here is a custom build for something else ESP is doing.

@@dicodec then try "Swan Song + Chopin etude" where Miyako plays some Chopin (just to testify why she's so amazing .. also helps she started playing piano when she was 3 and that the guitar is actually her second instrument which she picked up much, much later).

This performance is so off the hook, even the hook doesn't have words for it. So frantic, insane, urgent. I just love these advanced interstellar visitors more with everything I hear. If you like Asami's vocals here, you need to hear her doing something a little more focused on her "symphonic metal" singing capabilities. Hold on. I'll go find it. BTW: pretty sure it's guitarist Miyako on the piano.

There's this amazing vocalist from South Korea who's widely regarded as one of the best in the world, but in almost every one of her videos, there's some troll from the Philippines shitting on her, saying she can't sing she just screams, and that (insert Filipino singer's name) is SOOOOO much better. It's annoying and pathetic. You guys would probably get along really well.
