    The quality of the songs/music from this band is unbelievable. And yet they seem so relaxed about it, as shown in their latest MV Stand and Deliver. The video of their live stream at the release of the new album also shows how down to earth and humorous they are.

    LOVEBITES wrote "Winds of Transylvania" (2021) as the opening song for the Japanese anime series "Vlad Love" (2021). "Vlad Love" anime series about Vampires.
    This is a live version of the song. There are two more versions of the "Winds of Transylvania" Music Video, in which the song ends with Miyako's piano. Very good MVs.

    Miyako is using Dean's Miyako signature model "V" here. And Midori also uses the same design type guitar. Midori has a large collection of guitars, but I rarely see this type of guitar used live. She probably made this choice because of the mood of the song and the visual effect of the two-shot with Miyako. I think she has Midori's sense of valuing service to her fans.

    Good to see you back to Lovebites. This song is included in their 2021 EP called Glory, Glory To The World, at least the version that I purchased. Asami was the biggest surprise in this EP. Prior to this EP, she had only cowritten two songs (with Mao) and both were very ballad-like - Epilogue (2018) and A Frozen Serenade (2020). In the EP , Asami cowrote two of the five songs with Mao and both are very fast paced - Winds of Transylvania and Paranoia. I had assumed that Asami would stick to composing the slower Lovebites songs. I was obviously very wrong. On the recent album, Judgement Day, she was involved in writing the music for four songs, including the title track. A highlight from the new album is the song Stand and Deliver (Shoot'em Down) which is the first song cowritten by Asami and Miyako (I hope the mv it is on your long list somewhere). Asami has more than filled the songwriting hole left from Miho's departure.
    Y'all might enjoy watching a video of a talk between Asami and, who I assume to be, the two creators of Vlad Love. The video is about 10 minutes and very interesting (especially when the conversation turns to the subject of Miyako). Not for a reaction, just more insight into Asami and Lovebites (be sure to turn on cc) - ruclips.net/video/wTkVG1J2NGw/видео.html

      Hi Dan! How are you?
      Great info! Do you know if Asami writes any of the music or just the lyrics? Just curious... I (Itai) watched the video. It was great to see that Asami/the band's intention was for us to experience the music just the way I described. I felt a little bad saying that I'm "not into Lovebites for the lyrics", even though I do like their lyrics. I am in for the musical experience first and lyrics second, which is why sometimes we prefer to react to the song and not dive into their lyrics on first listen. Just the way the intended, it seems! 🙂 Made me feel better, so thanks for that! 👍
      We have more Lovebites episodes recorded and in the editing queue, so more to come in the near future. Stay tuned!
      As always, thank you so much for taking the time to view and engage. MUCH appreciated! 🙏

      @@myindieprodentertainment I was hoping you would appreciate Asami's comments about the lyrics which surprised me a bit since she has been the primary lyricist and sole lyricist since Miho left. Although Asami has not written a song on her own, my feeling is that she is equally involved in writing the music, and probably takes the lead in the music that surrounds her vocals. To me, she has grown the most within the band since she had very little experience with rock/metal music and never even really belted songs prior to joining Lovebites. My wife and youngest son have been involved in musical theatre on a local level for many years so I have seen my share of live musicals (my son is now in college at a Music Conservatory getting a degree in Musical Theatre). I truly believe Asami would be very comfortable in a musical. She definitely has the voice, charisma and looks for the stage. I also believe that, with Miho gone, Asami is right behind Miyako in having the most forceful personalities in the band. If she is going to cowrite a song, it is not going to be in name only. I am very curious if Miyako and Asami had any conflict at cowriting their song Stand and Deliver.

    • @myindieprodentertainment
      @myindieprodentertainment  Год назад

      @@danw6048 Interesting. I hope there are never any conflicts within the band, in song writing or otherwise. It is interesting to see Asami grow within the band and take on the leader mantle more when they are on stage. She really does have charisma and a great voice and she moves beautifully as well. She would easily fit into a musical, but I hope she sticks with metal and the band. I'm just selfish this way 😉
      With your wife and son both involved in musical theatre, how do THEY feel about Lovebites? Just curious... 🙂
      As always, thank you for everything. We greatly appreciate your support! 🙏

    Everything these ladies do is crazy good. Itai mentioned Asami’s accent is very heavy. They did a live review of their new disc “Judgement Day” where they were each on their own web cam together dancing and holding up written signs. When the song Orion came on the members all clowned Asami with Lion drawings because of the way she pronounces Orion, sounds like oh Lion. It was precious.

    • @myindieprodentertainment
      @myindieprodentertainment  Год назад +3

      LOL. Sounds like a fun moment. Just to be clear, my (Itai) comment about her heavy accent is not a criticism, I don't think we can expect anyone coming from a foreign language to have a perfect accent when singing in English. It was more to explain my saying that with Lovebites, especially on first listen to their songs, I prefer not to know the lyrics and just experience the music. I love her voice and their songs are so good that I don't want to be distracted by trying to work out what she said when and if it coincides with the lyrics. I saw an interview earlier today where Asami herself expressed that the way their songs are put together is mostly for the audience to experience the sound and the song and worry about working out lyrics and meaning later and on multiple listens. Made perfect sense to me.
      In any way, thank you for the fun comment. More Lovebites to come soon. Stay tuned!

      This was our sixth or seventh Lovebites episodes, so we are slowly getting to all the requests on the list. Some requests (for other bands) have been made via Buy Me A Coffee, which get bumped up, meaning others may get bumped down a little. Also, we try to make sure we spread out episodes on songs by "same bands" in order to avoid giving too much focus to any one or few bands while neglecting others. A tough ask for us as we have to hold off from listening to bands we discovered and love in order for songs to be a first-time reaction. So far, so good. We are holding on. Lol.

    The Wolfpack waited with baited breath from early to late 2021. Winds of Transylvania was released as a theme to the anime “VladLove” and everyone wondered if they could do such a fast song justice live. Of course we all blithely ignored what we already knew which was that the band only ever records something that they will be able to play live. Naturally they nailed it. The most noticeable difference was in the timing between the piano intro and Beethoven’s 6th. Miyako, even if not pregnant, couldn’t possibly make the switch from piano to guitar as quickly as the studio recording.

    When Asami talks, you could understand what she's saying. Singing makes it difficult to understand like an Opera?

    • @myindieprodentertainment
      @myindieprodentertainment  Год назад +2

      Absolutely. It is more difficult to understand singing than it is speaking, but it is also difficult to annunciate properly when singing, when you are singing a foreign language, so Asami's level of difficulty is higher. For example, if she was singing in Japanese, Japanese speakers would understand a lot more of what she sings. Either way, we don't care because we love her voice and her on-stage presence. She is awesome, as is the whole band! Lovebites are fast becoming one of our most favourite bands! Stay tuned for more!

      👍 The Ladies of LOVEBITES are "White Vampires" who bring positive to people and after the "bites" of which a person has a surge of vital energy and a desire to live. Black vampires carry negativity, take energy from people and immerse a person in gloomy thoughts .

      Yes, Sal, we know. This is why I (Itai) said that this could be a different show with a different set of white outfits, as they wear white all the time. We've discussed the whole wearing white against the "black norm" before numerous times. We love that about them. Apparently, the girls have stated at some point that they also wear white because they are all fairly short and it helps them stand out. Outfits or not, one of the best bands we've ever seen!
