This song, or rather the 'VLADLOVE' music video version of it, was my introduction to Lovebites. a friend had recommended them to me because I like the old school metal bands such as Black Sabbath and Iron Maiden. When I looked them up on RUclips, the thumbnails, 5 pretty young Asian girls dressed in white, made me think that they must be a K-Pop band, not my thing at all, and that my friend was having a joke on me. However I decided to take a chance and chose what was then the most recent video on the Lovebites official channel. I would describe the experience as the acoustic equivalent of what it must be like to be hit by an express train. I was totally unprepared for what I saw and heard. Been a huge fan ever since.I went to see them play in London twice last summer, and I am hoping that they do a return tour before too long. One of the very best bands I've seen play in nearly 60 years going to music gigs.

Awesome! This song was written for the intro of an anime called VLADLOVE, the executive producers of the anime are fans of Lovebites and were present at this show! This was the only show Lovebites played during the pandemic and had many restrictions, such as venue at half capacity to create space between spectators, also the crowd couldn't scream or cheer, they were only allowed to clap! It sucks but at the time it was either like that or no show at all! Also Miyako (piano/guitar) was about 4 months pregnant in this show! Really cool song with some classical influences in there and the Midori guitar squeals! Haruna as always slaying those drums! Love it! 🤘🙂🔥

Thanks for this reaction. I had forgotten what an epic live performance this was. WoT is part of the legendary their EP “Glory To The World “ released during COVID. While this and the title track got all the attention with their MV releases, there are 2 other gems; “Dystopia Symphony” and “Paranoia” that are just as astonishing and intense. These 2 tracks are among many LB fans favorites that have not been recorded live. LB has announced in their tour after the New Year to play some of their songs that they never played live. We are all eagerly waiting for these performances.
This song is fantastic and 1 of my favorite songs but hard to play it live, very fast, difficult to sing because it is hard to take a breath, not to mention the synchronization of the effects which really have to be precise. Always love your reactions, I'm amazed by how quick you notice all the details, you've a great ear for picking up all the things happening in the track. The things in this song I like the most are the breaks of Haruna and the superb riffage of Midori, so quick and so clean and beside these things, the extended transition after the solos and harmony is also great and complex and to play this perfectly in sync takes some serious practice, it's a superb metal track.
The overall level is so high that it seems crazy to try to single out one bandmember, but Haruna's performance here is off the the charts. She is the band's secret weapon.

I heard that Beethoven's “Fate,” “Pathetique,” and “Moonlight” were arranged and used in this “Winds of Transylvania,” but being unfamiliar with classical music, I could only hear “Fate” at the beginning.
