There is just something about how Asami uses her voice, it really makes this song so epic. I originally started with Lovebites because of how awesome the instruments are, but Asami's voice really became an important part of why I love this band so much.

Fami is a bass prodigy. She was a YT bass sensation before her audition with Lovebites. Fami has her own YT channel with nearly 700,000 subs.and 70 million views. Perhaps her most famous video is the cover for "Alien, Alien" which she recorded when she was only 17. It has over 11 million views. You must watch to believe. Fami is more than just the rhythm ace, she writes her own music and plays lead. Lovebites will need to integrate Fami's writing and feature her off to keep Fami happy in the long run.

The music video for this song was uploaded to youtube after it was officially announced that the band's founder and leader, Miho (bass), had left the band and LOVEBITES was going on hiatus. The video chronicled their footsteps from their first live performance before they were scouted to Live in Tokyo 2021, and at the same time, it contained a strong message that “we will be back”. I am sure it was deeply moving for them to be able to perform this song at the revival concert after two years.

Yep, this was a pretty complex song to play LIVE. Miyako and Midori harmonized licks/solos for more than half the 6-minute song. Fami (bassist) has a short solo segment in "Soldier Stands Solitarily" which you have already reacted to. From their latest EP "Lovebites EP II", Fami also has a very tasty solo in the track "Someone's Dream" (currently audio only on their YT channel)

Thank you for checking this out. All of their live concert DVDs are minimum two-hour sets, and they look like they could go another two hours. Asami always announces "We are Lovebites and we play Heavy Metal", but they seem to be made of something harder.
Fami’s first and most important task is playing rhythm and stay with Haruna, especially when you have two lead guitars playing dual lead harmonies and soli in every song. Sometimes she gets a bass line or little solo, but that’s not her main job in Lovebites. For more extravagant stuff she has her side projects and her RUclips channel. We all know that Fami can do wicked stuff on the bass, but that’s not her task in a band like Lovebites. But even in her support role she is crazy good 👍

When I first saw the music video for the song "Judgement Day" by LOVEBITES, I was totally overwhelmed by the musical abilities of all the musicians. One part reminded me of "Gates Of Babylon" by RAINBOW and I also felt that it was a kind of prog as a whole. I am convinced that LOVEBITES also have the ability to create a crazy prog concept album (with additional Japanese instruments).
Yes, Haruna (drums) has been given the nick name (by the members) "the little big engine", she is only 4'10" and they all know she drives everything they do, she has been making music for a long time, her and the ex-bass player came from a group called Destrose to create this band, even though she wont say it (Japanese culture) she is the boss.

I don't know, maybe it's because I'm a power metal fan and this song is really really a straight power metal song.. I love everything in this song especially the full instrumentations that makes us love these ladies even more.. and something more interesting to me is in the studio version they play unison in the first part of Midori's solo where you can hear Miyako play synth at that section...
As for bass-solos: The coolest one I've ever heard and seen from Lovebites is in their cover-version of the Helloween song "Eagle fly free" from the "Awake again - Live from Abyss" DVD which was a "live in a studio" recording during the pandemic. At the time their former bassist Miho was still in the band, though. Fami has some nice little solo parts in "The hammer of wrath", as seen on "Knocking at heaven's gate".
I don't think that is right. This was on their 2nd full album. She was still in the band for 3 more tours. It is not likely that they never did thus live while she was there.

The rest of this compilation LP contained re-mastered versions of songs from their previous full LPs/EPs, and this compilation LP was released in 2021. Moreover, "Nameless Warrior" was the last song to be recorded with Lovebites’ original line-up

I love this song but it is still bittersweet for me cause that was the last song Miho recorded with them and she never got to play it live
