I actually stumbled across an interview they did talking about their past musical experiences and influences. It was super interesting because the guitar players were like “we wanted something more challenging to play and we found that in metal music.”
One of a few good interviews (I made a playlist actually...)
ruclips.net/video/5KpJBe3s2i0/видео.html
Japan is saving rock & metal. BABYMETAL, Band Maid, Lovebites, Necronomidol & so many others.
necronomidol?
Gazette,one of the bests
May I throw in Unlucky Morpheus, Rotten Graffty, and SiM?
Not a fan of Baby Metal as I would prefer to see them actually play instruments so I don’t really consider them metal.
@@areume2 Lol, tell that to Qzzy, Manson, Rob Halford etc because they too don't play any instrument.
What is Japan feeding these women? 😆🤣
Whatever it is - it works!
Metal shards
Man I love Lovebites! When I found out about them a few years ago, I was immediately hooked! You can go through their entire discography easily. I still want to see a reaction Rising or Hammer of Wrath, or The Edge of the World.
Hammer of Wrath is a very strong tribute a thrash metal of the 80`decade
a lot of comments will say-hey this is iron maiden's aces high-well a bit of research will tell you it is intended as a tribute to that song specifically according to asami-works for me!! they are one of the inspirations for lovebites.sounds like a compliment as far as i am concerned
You picked the wrong version of this song, cause as I recall there are two versions of the song, one is this, and one is the complete version of the song.
Btw, great reaction!! They said that The Crusade is their tribute to the classic metal bands that has become their influence, in this case Iron Maiden. That's why you clearly can sense Iron Maiden's Aces High vibes in this song. Hyper talented band, please react to some of their live performances as well.
He might get a heart attack if he listen to the complete version XD
@@NovaSaputra Most likely lol 😆
Yeah, Mary's Blood, Aldious.
I recommend Black Pentagram by Unlucky Morpheus. they're Japanese and they're my favorite band
I keep suggesting CADAVER/REVADAC.
Absolutely! I have their Blu-Ray from recently, and 2 of their albums.
Yes! they play a lot! and the drummer is very good!
Oh yes ... wait until he HEARS Fuki :)
100%. Recently stumbled across Unlucky Morpheus myself and my first thought was "our man has to check this out" 🤣
This song is straight up badass all over Iron Maiden! It reminds me of "Aces High", but in a *good* way!
Love your sense of humour! Watching you being bludgeoned into submission by these ladies and Band-Maid is highly enjoyable - and you seem to be loving every second of it! Aren't these female rock bands just our musical salvation? Keep sufferin', boy!
Mr Adorable I'm glad you're enjoying your Lovebites journey. All their lyrics are in English, btw, apart from one song on their first EP, which they then re-recorded in English anyway.
Now you need to check out:
Mary's Blood - Wings (Live) ruclips.net/video/VG_er3wNTyo/видео.html
Aldious - We Are ruclips.net/video/sfkJT0rra-8/видео.html
Aldious is so hit and miss or me. Some of their stuff just really shreds, while other songs I have trouble getting into.
Steve D thanks for the link to Wings haven't seen this rendition it definitely showcases Eye's incredible singing ability
@@michaelmusson3593 Yeah, definitely. My first choice would have been Counter Strike but full versions of that, Bite the Bullet and World's End have all disappeared in the last few days. I'm guessing more might go soon.
a very Iron Maiden Aces High song...great though...
I was thinking more of Judas Priest.
@@mickeyscott7479 Best of both.
Yesss...indeed. the influence is very noticeable.
Well, it's their tribute to Iron Maiden.
We already know there is something in the air, must be something in the water too
All I heard the first 2 seconds was iron maiden!...I don't know what they're feeding those women but I hope they don't stop!
I thought you knew that it's in Sake.
To think he hasn't reacted to Mary's Blood or Aldious yet.
Everyone BE SAFE, sheltering in California
Yes! Mary's Blood and Aldious!
A good link for a good Saki solo. ruclips.net/video/MLM2unV0kwU/видео.html
REACT TO THEM LIVE. That is THE REAL DEAL because most of their songs they can play even better live. Thats why Lovebites is the best heavy/power metal band in the world today. Fact that they are cute girls is just a nice bonus
Dude, i wrote you this on patreon... You seem to like those japanese bands so much. You have to check where it all started - X Japan, i recommend "Kurenai"
I found a lot of Japanese bands in the last decade. Love Bites, Band-Aid, Babymetal, Aldious, Unlucky Morpheus, Mary's Blood and more who just freakin' rock. A new all girl Supergroup Nemophila formed recently. Love your reaction.
Love Nemophila's version of The Trooper - it might push our friend over the edge... 😉
Saw these guys at download. They were on a smaller stage but they were amazing. They even played the song love bites with Halestorm! So good
Miho Miho Miho!
Saw them live supporting DragonForce on their UK tour, some seriously talented musicians!
You need to put some Lovebites on your wall along with Band-Maid.
Suggestion: BRATS - "どうだってよかった (Doudatte yokatta)", "決まりごと (Kimarigoto) LIVE."
Well now you have to check out the band Aldious - Dominator Live from Radiant A Live at O-East
Dude I just heard Break The Wall live ...Holy cow! You need to experience that. This band is just amazing.
Thanks for this new band experience. I have to dig in more in these japanese rock bands apparently. Love the Maiden touch of the song.
A lot of love for these girls!!! As ever your reactions don't have price, i have Three suggestions for you!! if you like LOVEBITS you must check Aldious -Ultimate Melodious- or -Dominator - maybe can check Mary's Blood -Marionette- or from the last... FATE GEAR with -Headless Godessess- im sure that you glad to see them!
Lovebites my favorite Japanese band at the moment. Top 3: Lovebites, Coldrain, and Band Maid.
Yo man, time to see them alive! Next reaction "We the united" live in Tokyo!
Yeah, it's not Aces High, but it's totally Aces High and I'm okay with that.
Have a look at the old guard of Japanese Rock/Metal! Try Ningen Isu! I'd suggest "heartless scat" or "namahage"
LOVEBITES- The Crusade, A Love Letter to Iron Maiden. Funny, this video is the one with Ads, God I hate those. kills watching it like that. Q Why is Lovebites getting Block on RUclips on their Videos. yet others J Bands don't get it as bad. WTF. Fans, remember the Battle in the East videos. F they were the Best Versions Live from LOVEBITES. till the Victor Records Blocked it. they need to change Companys or get a better Manager. to better market the Band. I Hope so after this Sh*t virus in the world pass. lol Check my Channel PLAYLIST on all LOVEBITES Music videos. better no Ads in it, besides Shadowmaker video. that one is perfect.
Mary's Blood - Death Queen's March Live
- Marionette
- Promised Land Live
I'd mention more, but it seems in the last few weeks a bunch of their live videos have been deleted from RUclips.
Don't forget Angel of Salvation live by Galneryus another Japanese band. 🤟🇦🇺
Whatever they feeding these women in Japan, please keep it up! Now, you need some Mary's Blood, two of it's members were in Destrose, the same band that Miho and Haruna came from. And yes, Asami can wail!
Lovebites: shadowmaker summer sonic 2019 live.
Also if you want band maid: dice summer sonic 2019 live
number 1 Asami who is the singer is mine lol, 2 this song is amazing but this wasn't the full version of the song. I don't know why they decided to keep this version of it up when it's been out for nearly 2 years but the full music video is out there, and 3 YES!!!!! more LOVEBITES reactions please!!
Another all female Japanese power metal band you need to check out is Aldious, and their song Dominator. I've posted below the only full version of their music video for this song that I could find on RUclips. There is also a live version, but the sound mix isn't as good. I first heard this a couple of weeks ago, and it was amazing. I'm finding that there are quite a few really good Japanese female metal bands, so there is definitely something going on over there.
ruclips.net/video/Q9FJCPsDFfk/видео.html
Hey, if you want to see something crazy, then you should definitely check out Tina s. Playing moonlight sonata on electric guitar and dragon force through the fire and the flames cover, awesome awesome 😎😎😎😎😎😎😎👀👀👀👀👀👀🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶👁👁👁👁👁👁👁👁👁👁
Lovebites: the hammer of wrath summer sonic 2019 live!!!!👍👊👍👊👍💥💥💥
Great great women band ❤️❤️🤘🤘
There is such a great wealth of talent and musicianship coming out of Japan. Especially with the ladies in these rock and roll bands. I guess I'm partial and the haters will come out and attack me. But they are no band-maid. Thousand notes and beats per second or minute. Doesn't make a band great or their songs memorable. Give me high quality rock and hard rock songs with a melody. Over this type of stuff any day. Obviously these ladies are extremely talented. But again I'd rather listen to a song that touches my mind and heart. Then just who can play the fastest ! Keep up the good work ! PS there's an awful lot more band maid you could be delving into !
Just a matter of personal preference. Lovebites just has a tone that appeals to me more than BandMaid which has a more Jpop sound at times. Prefer the more traditional metal sound of Lovebites guitar solos. (Which unfortunately this video didn't include). Either way both bands are a solid listen
Well, it seems you simply aren't into metal. That's fine. But that doesn't make Band-Maid better. I wouldn't even compare them in the first place. Both are great in their own right.
Midori mentioned on the new album she was experimenting with eight-finger tapping on the Electric Pentagram CD. I thought there was a technical advancement there.
We need lore lovebites!! Skippin on our Queens here. Def chk out Hammer of Wrath: ruclips.net/video/S3vjrVtAvzE/видео.html
well i can make a list band full woman on it, theres a lot tho in japan, but not so many of them is popular, but they are good to hear too, and nice looking too
omg japan power metal is so bad ass thank you dude
YES!!!come on man, please, some lovebite on the wall.
Wierd to post for you a link from band-maid while doing a lovebites reaction, but here is specially for you Akane:
ruclips.net/video/GD2ChEcXHwI/видео.html
What they feed them? Ramen & beer.
*sake
@@elaine-29 And Sake.... lots of sake and not the cheap stuff
Mary's Blood: Death Queen March, live.
You react to Japanese girl-bands, I click. It's that simple. There are a bunch of them, and they put the rock/metal scene in the U.S. to SHAME.
I strongly disagree. They put the rock/metal scene in the WORLD to SHAME.
@@workloadspd Well, I want to put in a small word on behalf of Eastern Europe, where there is some damn good stuff happening. But overall your point is well taken!
@@workloadspd No question, this is a true supergroup--each one of them would be the star of any normal band.
@@hiawatha.g Eastern Europe? Not denying that there is great music coming from there, but that seems pretty reductive. I would certainly include the Nordics and probably Central Europe as well. At least when it comes to metal.
@@cepho8349 No argument there. If you are into symphonic metal, for sure Nordics and Netherlands are the epicenter. Hey, there are even metal bands from Samoa, Mongolia, Indonesia, Ghana, Brazil and lots of other places. Metal and rock are alive and well.
Sushi from Great Whites and Iron Maiden’s and Slayers!
Is that a Japanese power metal? Me likey.
Best reactions. Lovebites are awesome another amazing song by them Rising. Other amazing bands you can react to also from Japan Scandal and Bridear
Literally Japanese Dragonforce. AMAZING!
Duuuude, you've gotta check out Yousei Teikoku if you're into Japanese Metal (J-Metal)! Their song "Astral Dogma" is INSANE (sweet music video too) and they also did a badass song for the anime "Mirai Nikki" (Future Diary).
Hello from France sub+1! I like your videos ! Vive lovebites, band-maid, nightwish and the music 🤘🤘🤘 Stay safe everyone
I've gotta keep suggesting CADAVER/REVADAC by Unlucky Morpheus.
Very strong Iron Maiden vibe. Especially Aces High.
It's their tribute to Iron Maiden.
Definatley more lovebites
🤘🤘❤️🤘🤘 Told ya Heath!!!! 😁🤘🤘
Great vid reaction.. but WE NEED MORE LOVEBITES REACTION 🤗. Highly Highly recommend Epilogue live performance & Liar . These performances shows both guitarist their truly skills and how Godly they are on power ballad metal. Plus liar shows how talented/skillful the drummer is.
Dude do vanguard by exist trace. They are another all female Japanese band that deserves love.
BRUCE DICKINSON: [On the phone] "Miyako? Hi - it's Bruce! Yeah - that one. Listen - can we borrow The Crusade? Steve says he wishes he'd written it. Yeah? Lovely - bye now!" 😉
Check out Bridear latest album, thank me later.
Has your reaction to LOVEBITES "Shadowmaker" come yet? : )
Waiting for that Amorphis reaction!
We are the united - lovebites
Love me some japanese metal, please do an Aldious reaction video.
Well all I can say to Lovebites is DEUS VAULT!! I'm ready for The Crusade!
very nice video!
thanks,
Lovebites is to Heavy Metal what Band-Maid is to Rock, badass!!
i know, its an old thing, but could you react to disturbed? i searched and it seems like you haven't reacted to them so far.. like down with the sickness and then afterwards their cover of sound of silence would be really nice to see :)
Lovebites ,propably best female band heavy !
Unlucky Morpheus-knight of sword,Mary's Blood-world's end or Yuzukingdom...worth to check...nice reaction btw👍
Mr Rock and Roll I know how much you like your Japanese lady drummers can I suggest you watch a drum cover of Dragon Forces Through the Fire and Flame by a young girl called Junna. There are a lot of other drum covers she has done as well
Holy shit! I've never heard of these girls before, but this was stupidly good! So enjoyable! Damn they cute too ey?
You should listen to all their music. They are absolutely incredible.
I dare someone tell me that they DON'T hear a heavy Iron Maiden vibe in this song!
Who else wants to see Iced Earth's Declaration Day for the 4th of July?
I am ready....OMG... you can't come on that hard!!!! Mr. RNR you are never ready for these ladies so just admit it and get a thicker carpet on that floor!!!!!
Midori and Miyako - the dynamic duo! and then there's the monster in Haruna!!! :) Unfortunately you picked the wrong version, but it's great anyway!
You should check out Unlucky Morpheus Cadaver/Revadac one of the most underrated bands in Japan.
Por alguna razón me recuerda en la estructura a una parte de Ace High de Iron Maiden, pero con màs power de metal..
Dir En Grey Obscure. Uncensored version
Please stop. Not obscure it doesn't show kyo's real vocal ability. You are turning people off when you recommend such a crappy song from a unique band .
You should react to These ladies version of Helloween's Eagle Fly Free
These gals rock with the best of them. Their talent level is off the charts. To get a feel for their diversity, check out Edge of the World.
Thank you. First time seeing them. They rock! I didn't like BabyMetal - but LOVEBITES is gooood...
Lovebites are fantastic better live than in the studio. Have you watched the videos of them live at Wakken in 2018 or the Daughters of the Dawn concert recorded in Tokyo last year. Both are available on RUclips. Why don't you react to the live version of Marionette by Mary's Blood, another all female Japanese metal band. You will love Saki the guitarist. You should also check out Asterism, a three piece japanece band with a fantastic young female guitarist called Hal-Ca. I recommend the live versions of Light in the Darknesas and also Blaze.
There are 2 verisions of the video, you needed the music video, but did the youtube verision. The normal music video is the full length one.
Reminds me a little to Galneryus.
Like a Iron Maiden
Try Aldious with Re :fire. Also Japanese girls 😉
a Aces High.
Request... powerwolf... Sanctus dominus
Try Golden destination by lovebites.
What do you feed them??? Lol.. 😂😂
It's not about the food...
Women like that could only come from a place like Japan. Japan is one of the least feminist countries in the world.
NO positive action, NO forced diversity, NO Quotas, NO victimhood... Feminine, strong, beautiful and VERY talented
Watch “Bastard Son of Odin - Battle Beast”
Please check out Six Black Heavens Guns from the Guilty Gear OST.
React to Iron Maiden-The Clansma Rock In Rio
