It amazes me that Asami can remember all these English lyrics. It's one of the things that really makes Lovebites appeal to me much more than the more popular Japanese bands. That, and their music is incredible and a perfect combination of everything I've been listening to for 40 years!

She's name haruna. And yes, she is machine gun drummer.

People tend to overlook that Miho is not your average bass player and that she has to keep up with Midori and Miyako during the fast parts of the breakdowns. Still having fingers after one hour and a half it's nothing short of amazing.
Midori and Miyako have been double dipped in the talent sauce while Haruna just took the bowl and ran away with it.
Asami went from chill jazz singing to metal and i think we're only seeing the beginning of what she can really do. She can hold high notes but i`m sooo curious if she can go low, like really low growl type.

Lovebites will hit you hard. I think he will like Edge of the World or Swan Song. They both showcase the talent of this band even more. Miyako is a guitar goddess. Midori is just as good. It’s not fair one band has two guitarists of that caliber. Plus Miyako plays piano as well. Asami kills the vocals too .. This band is the real deal.

If you really want your mind blown , look up Senri Kawaguchi played Erotic Cakes, I think she was 19 when this was recorded , Senri is absolutely brilliant playing the drums . At 4:20 watch the bass guitar player look over and starts watching her , then looks at Guthrie with a wink and a smile. After that she goes off at about 5:30 and rips the drums up.

An hour.... more like an hour and a half and it only gets better and better. At the end of that you feel like the girls have been kicking you in the head with their heels for the past hour and a half. These are the current queens of heavy metal apart from Miyako who has possibly been elevated to the status of Goddess.
Early on Miyako was often overlooked by fans, who focus on Midori's and Haruna's obvious fireworks. But she has gradually been imprinting herself on all of us as a bona-fide genius and, yes, Goddess-level musician. They're all so good it's sort of surreal.
"Swan Song" should be on your list, as well as all the other songs mentioned all over the comments

The concert is actually 1 hour and 46 minutes long, I have the DVD, so it's a lot longer than an hour you have to survive, you have to have been bitten, have it n your blood, and be part of the Wolf Pack to survive it....proud member of The Wolf Pack since 2017...I've survived this concert about 35 times now so far..LMAO

Lovebites i really became a fan of. The other japanese bands they are all good but none of them really gave me the feeling that i want to listen to their songs more than once, and of course not 10-20 times in a row like i can do with some of my real favorites. But Lovebits, they moved more and more up into my top league. I even really like the full power metal songs now, but my favorites are still the ones that have some slower phase and the 10-20 times in a row song is mostly "Epilogue"

As it has been way too long since I went to see a crazy good band play. I hadn't thought about what you said with respect to surviving the show. You really need to check out their cover of Helloween's Eagle fly free that they did for their Studio live performance that was streamed online. Better than the original imo and there is a kickass drum solo in it too, well, everyone has a solo in it that kicks asses

It was Halloween when Haruna, a drummer, fell in love with metal, so I think it was a special feeling for her to play the cover of this song. They met Halloween members in 2018. Haruna uploaded three photos she took with them on Twitter recently.

This is the opening for the DVD "Five of a Kind". I highly recommend it man.. it's virtually impossible to overrate this gig. Recommendations? From the same gig, "Raise Some Hell", "Swan Song" (look out for the version with the opening opening piano etude.. I s**t you not!)

Listen didn't anyone ever tell you when you go for a ride with the Lamborghini of Power metal bands you have to strap in or you will hurt yourself, or your wall or rug or who knows what else?? Seriously, a great reaction to the models who look like they are going to a fashion show, but put on white dresses and high heels and proceed to blow out those brain holes completely. Hey let's see those big burly guys do this in high heels...I would pay to see that show!!! I can say this in all seriousness, going to their show is like going to the old AC/DC shows (I went to more than my share). You end up hoarse for hours, deaf for days and exhausted for a week!!!!! Ah...Mr. R N R on his knees worshiping the goddesses of power metal, where every fan ends up eventually when hit with the insanely talented and flawless performance of this group especially LIVE. They do Power, Thrash, Ballads and even classical piano....my bet you wouldn't have survived this concert (LOL)!!!! No, it was not an hour it was actually a two-hour show with a total of 19 songs and it was aired here on RUclips in July of last year it was phenomenal and epic. many songs from all three albums and three EP's best damn concert I have ever seen. these girls put on an awesome show they actually make dudes look and sound like amateurs lol.
