Great video, thanks for sharing! My bracket snapped also and needs repair. I was thinking, that bracket they recommended seems really small, but I guess they know what they are talking about.
I have same 16 ft Wayne Dalton door install at my home. It was already installed with the same bracket which is shown in this video. I am trying to see is there any other bracket that can be installed and supported by strong steel plate on the same Wayne Dalton 16 ft door.
Very professional narration

I thought the same thing, but that is the one they recommend. I spoke to a dealer as well and that's the one they recommended.
Got the bracket on Amazon. Works great! Thanks!!
You should take off the curve on the opener arm it works better on those Wayne Dalton when you grab the door from the top!
I appreciate the feedback. That might explain why the first one I installed broke.
Should the curve of the operator be removed or leave it on?

I don't believe there is a different style. At least the WD I went into didn't have a different one.
Take a look at W-D P/N: 306891
Make Sure the spring isnt broken inside TorqueMaster tube. And a 3" strut over jstrut is better. If spring is broken convert to standard torsion.
thanks
