This video shows exactly what I needed to do to fix my door
Thanks for the comment glad to help.
Thanks. I gotta do this. Mine's pulling out for a SECOND time. My fix, like this, will be permanent.
Good luck Steven thanks for the comment.
I really love this. Makes sense and that sucker ain’t coming out.
For sure thanks for the comment and watching.
That should do the job, stronger then new. Nice job Kevin.
Thank you Hatch
Much appreciated. This was my exact situation, minus the creeper. Just poor construction by the previous owners!
Thanks for the comment and watching Scott.
This is great. I think I'm going to do something similar to re-attach roller hardware on a panel. Thank you
Nice fix. You make that stuff look easy.
Thanks Daryl
👍Crazy 👀stuff happens, fer sure! That's a nice door. Good idea however I would've placed metal support "plates" on BOTH sides of door but that's just me.
Thanks for the video. 👍✌️
That is a great idea i would have done that if i thought of it first, thanks for watching.
Well done! Those bolts aren't pulling out any time soon but something else will have to give if that happens again. I guess the point being don't let that happen again :) Thanks for sharing! Be well.
your right Gerard, hopefully it won't happen again.
Good job, thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
Great fix. Awesome job!
Thanks William
How long are those 5/16 bolts my friend? I just had the same issue but it was ice that stripped my connection.
You're amazing!!, Keep doing your content
Thank you! Will do!
Yea i dunno how good this will look when having to fix all the hinges.. i guess it might make it look industrial or something.. i’ll get me some painted ones.. if i drill them all evenly then should look factory.. i hope..
I got an old door that has had a rough life..
You can do I'm sure thanks for the comment.
Best vid
Thank you so much.
Put a new metal plate over the old holes on the inside.
Thanks
Good job my friend you’re friend Gman
thanks Gman
You will always discover the weakest point in the door, when mistakes like this happen. This time it was three screws. Next time it may be the belt mechanism or the motor giving up.
that is for sure, thanks for watching Bent Nickel
I didn’t thing you were supposed to bolt to the door like that. Aren’t you supposed or run an angle brace across the door with a “T” down for the garage door brace? Most door manufactures sell a kit bracing kit.
don't know i just fixed it and it works great
Yes you do
Listen to this guy, i think he might know a thing or two about garage door repair.. got a hunch..
After this fix, next will be the pin will snap.
Lol that's right thanks for the comment.
Believe it or not your garage door sounds like it’s not running too happy do you want to disengage the garage or from the opener you are supposed to have a emergency release rope and handle on the trolley if you don’t know where to get one you can get one off of Amazon just type in LiftMaster emergency release rope and handle and your garage door doesn’t have the proper reinforcement you’re supposed to have a strut on the top panel and a operating bracket where the door arm hooks on because usually overtime if you don’t have those things like what happened to you was it pulled out and eventually it could bend the top panel overtime so the type of lubricant I recommend is PB blaster garage door lubricant you want to lubricate the garage door hinges rollers springs and end bearings
Thank for the info
Nice
Thanks
Security problem, now anyone on the outside can detach the puller from the outside and slide the door up.
Those bolts are flat on the outside. How is anyone going to get a socket on it?
How long are the bolts?
About 2 1\2 inches
@@Robinson-Homestead ok and stove bolts or machine bolts either or?

Thank you Pete
