The only diff îs the exhaust on 118i, larger than 116i with 0.5 inchi and and oil cooler. The 116i or 114i are runing very hot, over 120 on oil temp. The 118i never pass 120 due to the oil cooler. Had both variants.
Great Video thanks for the share. The 120i also has a N13 with a bigger down pipe I think. How does this affect the different driving modes? My car has a sports pack that includes sport + driving mode

they worth buying? are they reliable?
@@MrAditza95 yes, are very good. check my channel, i have some 0-100 with 116i stage 1.
So, are you saying remapping a 116i or 114i could be problematic due to the absence of the heat exchanger ( oil cooler ) ?
@@alejandroreggio5904 just pay atention to the oil temperature, not to go over 130 ° celsius

is 20 pounds of boost too much for this engine to handle?
When you do stage 2 what’s the spark plug gap ?
Jury is still out on what works best but personally would try ngk1422 with .023-.024 range, if you running hot.
Isn’t stage 1 on these 220hp??
Sulayman that’s a figure at the engine. Slightly higher HP reading will be on Dynoes based on inertia and colder days.
EuroSurgeon Performance oh I understand, I’m hoping and expecting to get 220hp on mine. Thanks for clearing it up
Did you get 220? I’m getting a 116i too
@@jdbl1476 I got 226hp with everything stock, just upgraded air filter
Amazing thankyouu
Has anyone taken this to stage 2 or 3
Somehting that i try not to do too much. If you chasing power - B48/58 or, sigh....N55
