I do also experience that! Music that I love so much just overflows my brain with creativity!! It makes me always want to put it down on paper! When I hear music, colors, shapes, light, it all flows in my brain! Its even more vivid when I close my eyes. Happy to know others feel this way as well!😄
I listen to Industries of the Blind music when I draw and it truly is like a high when you’re creating stuff. It’s so stimulating and freeing beyond all levels of compare. You’re not alone. I love this piece and how bright it is.
I feel super similar to this! When a band I like releases a new album, or when I randomly run into a new song or band, I get a rush of creativity and I draw as much as I can to get my ideas out! It's so nice because it gives me motivation I don't normally have and I can create stuff that I couldn't normally create. I feel the same way! It's nice to see someone has the same reaction to music as I do! :0
It sounds a little like Synesthesia! When some people hear music they see colors, some say words and feel like each word has a taste, some people see each number in a different color, etc... It's the brain automatically connecting two unrelated things. You should look up Melissa McCracken's synesthesia music paintings!

Sometimes when I eat certain foods, they taste like scents that i've smelled before. I always recognize them but I never remember what the smell is exactly.
I have the same experience when I see other are or when I'm around food or a chef that really inspires me. I'll spend hours drawing, writing or cooking to get everything that is flowing around my mind out.
I feel like that with music too! Music is so inspiring to me!
Every single time I watch one of these, I become so inspired to open my watercolors to start painting again! Thanks for always posting such cool and pretty things

I know exactly how you feel when it comes to finding that one song from time to time. It can totally wear you out, especially if the creative feeling the song gives doesn't leave after you've finished a piece. Beautiful work though!

I experience very similar things when listening to music but sometimes just little bits of life do the same to me, like a sudden rainfall or meeting a stranger.
I don’t have these moments as often anymore due to health problems, but when I do, I can’t stop creating!
Your work is so inspiring! I'm an artist and I get artist blocks where I just don't have any motivation to draw or paint and a lot of the times ideas just stop flowing. Seeing your art is motivating me so much! Watching your videos gets me so excited to work on watercolor projects

I experience this as well. There are a few songs that I'm specifically learning how to animate a little so I can make the scenes and movements they inspired. Some of them are short gestures, others are almost like full music videos. I can't hear the song without thinking of the images and it excites me a lot. Music is incredibly inspiring to me, to the point where even though I'm a visual artist, I'd be fine with going blind than going deaf, because I don't know if I could handle never hearing music again.

I just cannot draw without music- also I often get lots of inspiration due to music, sometimes I already know the music is going to inspire me before it actually starts, or sometimes I get ideas upon listening to one song multiply~

I know how you feel when it comes to getting creative urges when hearing a certain song. I have the same thing. I just hear a song I find and then have the urge to draw/doodle whatever seems to appear in my head

Honestly all your videos are so inspiring, I've been watching your channel l for quite a while and have been meaning to get more into the beautiful doll world. But for now I've just stuck with drawing, so seeing these videos is just so much more inspiring since I relate a lot easier to this kind of work. (And yes!! Music is amazing for creating) I just wish I had more free time to let my creative mind roam free in hopes to create works that I love and am really proud of.

The theory you’re talking about is called a “flow state.” It’s something you’ve subconsciously taught yourself which is why you can be switch into a creative flow with certain stimuli. 💕

I completely agree with you, certain songs inspire what I choose to create at that time. So I will listen to those types of songs until I finish creating what ever it it I came up with. Like for example, I'm working on a fantasy bear, so allot of the music from the movies from LOTR is being listened too. (he's almost finished)

Oh my gosh yes, the same thing has happened to me many times! Ever since I was a kid that has happened to me ^_^ It happened recently actually where I got very inspired by a song to create a custom doll based on it...I still haven't though sadly. Hopefully soon! Anyway, I love this, so much color!!

I know what you mean, just a few days ago I heard this mashup of Lady Gaga's Applause and Lindsey Stirling's The Phoenix. It was magic and inspired me to make this digital painting that I've been working on for two days now that I think may be my best work yet. I call her the Phoenix and she is a perfect mixture of Lindsey and Lady Gaga.

Oh my gosh, I totally know how you feel with finding inspirational songs! I do writing, but I often roleplay in between, just to deal with all my extra little ideas, and characters. My main song-based inspiration comes from Eurielle and Adrian Von Ziegler here on RUclips (if you like anything from electronic, to classical music, check them out), but once I get going on a new song, it's weeks before I can move on from it. XD
I experience the same thing with music I usually listen to music while I’m drawing and/or make art inspired by a certain song

I know what you're talking about with the flashes of ideas with music, I get it too but it's more flashes of little critters rather than colours and only happens with some songs. I also find that colours have their own smells, like red has a particular smell, I dunno, strange lol.
Wow i love this concept so so much.. the drawing gave me so much inspiration for a character and I loved hearing you talk about the feelings you get ^+^. I feel as though it makes the video so much more personal and warm, and its really interesting to hear. I too find music gives me so much inspiration and sometimes I just need it to shut everything else out so I can just focus on I don't know.. the whimsical feelings of being an artist? Its hard to describe but yeah ^w^, thank you for this video, its really made me think.

I love your videos and admire how much effort you put in the recording and postproduction. Aside from that you are such a multi talented person! Sweet jeezus, you youtube, customize dolls, run a shop and paint from time to time. Thats heck a lot xD
You asked if that strong inspiration that kinda makes you really focused and "high" can be called asmr.
Ive discovered both, that said feeling with music, since i am a music driven artist aswell and asmr to certain triggers (which would be drawing noises in my case).
I can tell that they are different things, but definitely are somehow bonded. Who is able to experience that "zone" could also be able to experience asmr.
I can describe asmr more as a... lets say temporary "orgasm" that runs down my head and spine.
And that "Zone" is more like being high and the song massaging my brain for a way longer period, so to say :D

Really? Because my editor uses the same songs as I did when I was editing them plus a few new ones that I personally picked. Maybe it is just the fact that I did not used to change songs as often, while she does to keep it more interesting :)
