Nice devices, BUT I am still waiting on an update on the more portable gear. Something like a newer DDJ-400, or a Pioneer's answer to Denon Prime Go. Hmmm...? 😉
So sorry that happened during a gig :( . We’re DJs too, and get how frustrating that can be. We’d like to investigate your issue further. Would you mind creating a support ticket so one of our product specialists can take a look at your issue? The “battle-style” orientation is help to match the muscle memory for folks who primarily use turntables in battle-style. If you’re looking for a “club-style” configuration, there are the DDJ-1000 and DDJ-1000SRT DJ controllers, as well as all other DJ controllers and all-in-one DJ systems in our product line. Visit www.pioneerdj.com to check out the entire lineup!
Thabks for the reply,,, i do understand the muscle memory indeed! I love your products dont worry,, big fan of the pioneer CDj's especially cause they are commonly used in the clubs i spin 🙌🙌
Like many industries globally, our manufacturing has directly been affected by global parts shortages and shipping delays, due to the effect of the Covid pandemic. We are trying our best to get our DJ gear to our valued customers like yourself, as soon as possible. As products arrive, they often go directly from our dealers to customers who ordered on while on back order. If you wish to order the DDJ-1000SRT, we recommend ordering one from your local dealer to get yourself in the queue for the upcoming shipments. If you have any questions about availability, please check with your preferred dealer for more information.
On the Revs, why is the pitch fader on the top? The point of battle style is to get the tonearm out of the way. The pitch fader ending up at the top is an annoying and unfortunate necessity, not a great feature. Why emulate that?
What’s being emulated is the muscle memory of using battle style. We discovered that one of the challenges DJs have mentioned about going back and forth between turntables (in battle style) and DJ controllers are the placement of these key functions. A battle-style DJ controller isn’t about moving the tonearm out of the way, but placing the tempo slider and play button for those who are used to using turntables oriented with the tonearm away.
I have the s11se I love this mixer. One of the problems I have with it is the paint. I kicked out the extra $200.00 for the se.. And less than a year the paint is fading at the crossfader.
So sorry to hear that. Can see the paint issue be frustrating. Have you created a support ticket issue? I'll give you the link here. We'll give our support team a heads up. support.pioneerdj.com/hc/en-us/categories/4417227498393
Because DJ Expo has majority mobile DJs, open format DJs, and scratch DJs attending the show, we curated what products to showcase to fit the audience. We did however show the TORAIZ product line along with the DJM-V10 at NAMM two months before.
You can find our gear at any of our authorized dealers. Here is a link to help you locate one online or in your area www.pioneerdj.com/en/shops/search/
Why you can't make a four channel Club mixer and bring back the Pioneer 800 CDJ what the vinyl record on I think that would be nice for the old DJ if you're do that then that will be real hot for all the CDJ vinyl you would benefit for doing something new single CDJ trust me

The battle style configuration on the DDJ-REV7 is there for DJs who primarily use turntables, and want the location of the play button and slider where their muscle memory is. For those who prefer the club style configuration, all other DJ controllers in our product line, like the DDJ-1000, are also an option. Check out our entire list of club style and battle style DJ controllers at www.pioneerdj.com
This year, several products were released that many folks were able to try out for the first time. The most recently released product was the DJM-S5. Also released this year was the REV-series DJ controllers, and DM series speakers. This is also the first appearance of the XDJ-RX3 at DJ Expo.
We use show stock items in our exhibit booth that are allocated use at trade shows. They do not affect the current status of back orders. We are trying our best to make sure DJs receive their units in a timely manner. However, we are still dealing with the affects of the Covid-19 pandemic, which has had a domino affect from parts shortages and shipping delays.
PLX-1000 and SL-1200MK7 both have digital pitch/speed. Digital speed adjustment on turntables are indistinguishable from analog in terms of feel and granularity, but with the benefit of consistent and accurate speed values. Also, Technics have been using digital speed control for their pitch slider as far back as the SL-1200M3D that was released in 1997. That means all the favorite models that followed (MK5, M5G, and MK7) all have digital pitch control. And yes, I am aware that they did not start advertising this pitch system until the later G models. The only thing you lose with digital pitch is the ability to calibrate or modify the pitch range. With digital, it is fixed, and is more consistent between models. Prior to that, the MK2 was notorious for losing it's pitch range accuracy; while turntable modders took advantage of the circuitry to increase the pitch range beyond 8% (at the cost of increased wow and flutter). The notion that digital speed control is inferior to analog, and that it is detectable by humans is a myth. Turntable purists saw the word "digital" and were automatically triggered. No study has shown that a DJ can detect the difference when using an analog vs digital speed control systems. The only thing you will notice with digital pitch, is that your turntable spins at the exact speed the marker says it's on. That's it. Both the PLX-1000 and SL-1200MK7 have amazing pitch adjustment including the ability to go +/16 %. However I would choose the PLX over the Technics for DJing, simply on the fact that the MK7 has poor vibration dampening. It's the noisiest SL-1200 ever built, and you will get feedback from your speakers up the needle. Also, it's $260 more than the PLX. Check this video ruclips.net/video/2L3_RN0fXNE/видео.html
The DJM-S5 was released only two months prior, along with the REV series being released earlier this year, and our latest DM series and VM series speakers. For many folks, this is the first time they are getting a chance to try these out. We understand that it’s important for DJs to have a chance to try out the gear before making a decision on purchasing.

As a battle style DJ myself, I much prefer the pitch slider up top. If you prefer cdjs then why care about a moving platter in the first place?
Great Vid... would love the Rev7 to work with RekordBoxDJ
We will inform our developers of your interest for support!
Serrato vs rekordbox? How to choose?
serato for turntables and your own gear, rekordbox for cdjs/club gear
