@@ScoobieDoobie197474 Because something in the milk separates. I’ve defrosted frozen bagged milk in the fridge a few times, and it looked more like water than milk.
You can even thaw the milk by putting the bag in tepid water in the sink.

We always had Nestea tea bags. They used to have people taking the Nestea plunge. I don’t think they’re available anymore.
My favorite treat at Christmas is made right here in New Brunswick... Chicken bones candy. My best friend dropped off a Christmas present that I am looking forward to enjoying tonight something that is also made here. Chicken bone liquor! If you haven't tried it... it is yummy. Are those hard candy, usually red or white, shaped like Santa? My mom is from Bouctouche, well St. Joseph de Kent, and every Xmas an Aunt would send these hard candies to us in Ontario. Could they be what you are referring to?
@@rwilsonweir5697 no they are pink hard candies that are cinnamon flavoured with bitter chocolate in the middle. Kind of shaped like thick sticks.

They have cookie crisp in walmart in ontario, lil Debbie in most stores as well, the swiss rolls and cookie sammiches with marshmallow in the middle is second fav.
Summerland Sweets makes lots of syrups. Saskatoon berry, Maplapple and pear are great.
I bought just about every one of them for Mom’s Eggos that she had for brekky every mornin. Her faves Apple Pie and MapleApple! Stony Plain, Alberta

Merry Christmas boys and to all your families and all our American friends to the south and to my fellow Canadians alike, We sure do have little Debbies here in Quebec and they are amazing, I also remember both American and Canadian versions of corn puffs here in both forms, but the Americans ones were called something else which I can t remember the name, we also had funyuns for while when i was growing up. Funyuns fact, if you are stuck in the woods and need to lite a fire in a hurry lol those will do the trick, lol Just for shits and giggles try tossing one in your fireplace just to see what happens. You guys are the glue that keeps America and Canada as allies lol you two do a much better job than Trump and Trudeau ever did.
They used to be called Sugar Corn Pops in the States. It changed when the word "sugar" was taken out of all the cereal names.

Nestea is one of my favourite drinks. Whenever I get Brisk Iced Tea instead, I'm sad.
Nestea used to be produced by Coke in the US. They switched over to their own Fuse brandname. It is still made, but pretty hard to find since it doesn’t come from one of the big two (Pepsi has an agreement with Lipton).

If you think of American CornPops as sweetened popcorn (which I think they have advertised it as), they make much more sense.
Canadian who's a transplanted American here. When I was a kid, Mallo Cups came with a cardboard in the pack that had a coin worth points. You could save up the points and get free candy bars. Most were 1 cent or 5 cent, but if you were REALLY lucky, you'd find one worth 25 cents. Thanks for bringing back the good memory on that one!

Btw, I remembered buying a big box of Cookie Crisp from a Canadian Costco a couple of years back. Was not disappointed.
But that Macchiato cereal looks like an elevated Timbits cereal. Looks good.
And Joseph, I've bought Whatchamacallit in Canada. You can find it in specialty candy stores in Toronto. Hands down the best Hershey chocolate bar.

We used to have Mott's Clamato in the US.
The Milano cookies we have in the US are different.
Canada still has Cookie Crisp. I can get it in Manitoba at Superstore. It might not be in every province though, or in every store.
Edit: Is you can get your hands on a Special Crisp, it's Hersey's Canadian version of the WhatChaMaCallIt. It's just not available throughout Canada.
