Very genuine way of designing conveyor for a specific purpose, people never come to know what is the actual power required to convey a specific material up a required height. You have given a situation. Thanks. I also design conveyors
Thank you for sharing the tutorial. I wanna ask a question, how to determine the power of the conveyor if our conveyor has a horizontal and inclined also ? Is it possible to combine their two calculation or there is another kind of calculation ?

Very simple add Power for the inclined portion
Sir if Conveyor length 50 mtrs means total length of belt approx 100 mtrs we have to take full length of belt for weight calculation or half length
Only the carrying side you have to consider
Best explaination ever.
I didn't understand that 7.9/0.7457= 5.9kw
Weight is measured in Newtons not kg. 1 N = 1 kg x 9.81 m/sec/sec
Yes weight is measured in Kg
means travelling/Linear speed and respective weight = Kg/sec
HP to kW convertion as shown divided but i it is multification
