I'm done watching ESPN. I'm not going to sit here and watch Stephen A Smith sit up there in a 3 piece suit with manicured fingers act like my part of country is so backwards and biggoted. Texas is a very tolerant place where in many areas white people are not even the majority. My city of 350k is 65 % Hispanic. I spent part of my life in Houston where there is a large black population and we all hung out together and got along. I've seen very little racism from either side yet these people are making it out to look like we are enemies and there are KKK rallies going on every Friday night. I don't think that anyone disagrees that racism is bad but don't put that evil on us. To me this seems like a northern problem. Next, we are going to a very bad place were we start attacking a 80+ year old man for not commenting and for wearing tee-shirts of stupid news networks. I'm sorry I'm a Christian and we just aren't supposed to judge others like that. Maybe the guy wore the shirt because he was going fishing and didn't want to mess up any of his good stuff? Even if he does like the network, have they ever said anything actually racist or did they just not agree with BLM. Some people can honestly care about black people while not agreeing with a movement that has become violent in some regards. I know a lot of upstanding black people who actually feel this way because of how much they care for others and those that have been caught up and hurt by the anger. That being said, I'm not stating my feeling, just that I'm companionate and tolerant of others so long as their action are peaceful and not racist or hateful to others. Everything is really messed up right now and it makes me want to withdraw to someplace else were people haven't lost minds if such place exists.
