you actually don't even need to use the cutting mat, just load the vinyl directly into the machine and select "No Mat". Then you only have to cut out what you actually used... and it's quicker
I’ve done it like that once. I’d have to explore that option more before i give anyone instruction on it. Are your cut settings the same when you cut without the mat? You also need to use more vinyl don’t you? The machine needs the extra to hold onto!? Correct?
You can literally take the roll of vinyl and feed it directly into the machine and just let the rest of the roll kind of hang off the edge of the table. Under 'Page Setup" select "None" for cutting mat and the default settings for Matte Vinyl (speed 5, force 10, 1 pass) will cut it perfectly.... also, have you figured out how to cut something bigger than your mat yet? If you are doing car decals, you'll want to know how to do that! After your decal cut job is done, just unload the vinyl from the machine and scissor cut the part you need off your vinyl. If you are left with like a square or something, save that and use the mat for maybe cutting a small decal out. Just turn on the grid marks on your page setup so you can be sure your design will fall within the piece of vinyl on your cutting mat.

When I am trying to apply rolled vinyl to a mat and I go with the shortest side of mat....you were fighting it pretty bad on the length side with the whole piece of vinyl rolled out...I roll it or re-roll it if you have to so that the right side is ready to place on mat...I hold the rolled section with my 4 fingers and use my right thumb to start on right corner short side of mat.....and then go to left side and use thumb to place the left vinyl corner down....middle will automatically level out...them just roll the rest of vinyl out onto the mat....without having to deal with the rest of vinyl getting stuck to mat

Thank you and thanks for watching. Welcome.
why didnt you use #1 instead of number 1
Good point. Didn’t think of it at the time. Thank you for pointing that out though. Maybe I’ll change it. Thank you for watching. I appreciate it.
boom and thats how its done..
Lol.
I’m sure this is common sense, but I just wanted to point out to make sure your surface is clean before applying your decals. Awesome job though!
Can I use photoshop for my designes?
Jumper OG illustrator. Photoshop doesn't make images in vector and that's what you need for a vinyl cutter as far as I'm aware, illustrator will create images in vector
Question: Is this material god for jet skies?
Awesome video! Can I use any type of vinyl other than Oracle? To be completely honest, I don't know one type from the other.
Not that I know of. I think you have to use oracle. It’s a different type of material than what we use for shirts.
@@adubbproductions Thank you for the quick reply. I appreciate the info. :)
No problem. Thanks for watching. I appreciate it.
I want to add a phone number to my business truck. Do I mirror the number like I would words?
When you are using the method I show in this video do not mirror anything.
Tysm.
That looks like a lot of hard work but it looks good. You always give good detailed information. Thanks
You're welcome Vicky. I appreciate you watching. I try to make it so people can really understand so they have no excuses not to get out there and make some money. Thank you as always.
I learned Alot from this video thank you. I was hoping you were going to show how the big design came out lol
Streetz 180 I’ll make a video showing how to install the big one. I didn’t put it on the back of my moms car because her rear window was really small. It wouldn’t have looked right in that tight space and also i was losing daylight and i wanted to complete the video for you guys. I’ll find someone else thy want something big out on and make another one for you guys. This is actually the second time i made this video. Lol this first time I went to edit and half the footage had no audio because i didn’t turn on my video mic pro. Smh. Not the first time i made that mistake either.
@@adubbproductions who the hell is streets 180. Don't know why they come up on my inbox.
That’s because he commented under your comment instead of in the main video comment. Honest mistake. Don’t worry. You won’t see his comments regularly just a little mistake that’s all.
Salute, I've learned so much about customizing watching your videos. My Business is doing Extemely well.. keep up the good work !!
CEO Allen Pough of Allen Pough Productions ,Entertainment Music Group, LLC
Salute right back. I appreciate you watching. Congrats to you and your business. Keep up the great work.
I need help with my pricing structure, I'm open to anyone helping me.
I can’t get my Bluetooth to connect what’s the secret bro. Great video. 👍🏼
Hey Eloy, have you checked underneath the Silhouette, there is a compartment with a screw , this is we’re there the tiny USB Bluetooth sits. My Silhouette says compatible but I don’t have the Bluetooth connector. We can purchase one but it has to be a certain model code, this information is online . I hope this helps you.
Every time I send something to cut it never cuts and always show the registration error and I did it exactly how you did 😫
is that the free software for cameo 3?
Hey. Thanks for watching. Don’t forget to subscribe. It’s an upgraded version of the free software.
Thank. You -

I have the drawing skills but not the technical skills . Drives me nuts
Adrien Peterson?
Kyle A lol. I get that all the time.
I need help importing lettering to the cameo to begin my logo cuts. Can you do a video on that
ok, I'm new to this... I thought Oracal 631 would be used not 651 🤦🏾♀️
You can use either. 631 has a matte finish 651 has a glossy finish but you can use either.
Just to help you out bro if you plan on doing this for awhile with the cameo instead of a plotter with a stand and rollers you should invest into a a roll feeder for the cameo it costs 23 dollars and it saves you from having to waste so much time and effort messing around with those useless cutting mats.
No lie, I thought this was Adrian Peterson at first.
If I had a nickel for everytime he says BOOM
Boom!
that;s ok I found me one
Boom, here is my comment, boom.
P.S.
Boom
Boom. I love it. Boom.
👀
Why do the other people's messages come up on my replies.?
Hey Vicky. No worries. I think he just commented in the wrong place. Not worries. Honest easy mistake to make.
