If you are using the auto blade, the machine is going to make the adjustments automatically based on the material you're using, if you're using another blade you need to adjust them manually as I showed in the video with the deep cut blade.

Or are they only the ones from Cameo? Did you buy the deep cutter that you said didn't come with it? Do you think you need it? Does it also come with vinyl sheets? If not, can I buy them somewhere? Hi, this is the now and older generation, Cameo4 is out, you can check my video about. When using vinyl you can cut 12"wide and up to 10' feet long. You can use your own images if they are compatible with Silhouette Studio. They are different set that you can buy. The box of Cameo doesn't come with material. Check my video about Cameo4.

Hi, the main difference with a die-cut, it's time it'll take you to complete a project. Keep in mind, the more intricate the design, the more time you're going to spend if you use a cutting machine. If your business is card making a laser cutter or a die-cut, it's probably a better choice.

Thank you for the video . Before I buy the machine could you please let me know what is the longest part I can cut? What is the width and length limits?
Hi, if you are cutting with a mat the max length will be 24". However if you are using a material that has a backing like vinyl you can cut a roll up to 10 feet long.
Thank you for the video. Do you have to use the adjustable blade in holder one or can you use other blades? Such as CB09? Also can embossing be done on Cameo 3 as you can with Curio?
Hi there, you can only use the autoblade in holder A, however you can use other blades in holder A, although I prefer using holder B for my other blades. Sadly, embossing cannot be done with Cameo3.
Yes, even though Cameo doesn't have a scoring tool you can create a new material and use the autoblade o premium blade. The pressure should be minimal so the blade doesn't cut the paper.

Hi, thanks for the instructions, could you please tell me the dimensions to cut? you said before up to 13", would I be able to put a roll of paper in this machine? Thanks!
Hi Flor, cameo can cut up to 12 inches wide and 16.5 feet long for a material like a roll of vinyl, or any material that has a backing sheet, not regular paper. The largest mat size is 12″x24″ that you can use to cut regular material like cardstock, paper, foam craft, etc. If you are cutting vinyl, you may not need to use a mat. If you cut vinyl that is 9 or 12 inches wide, you can cut it without a mat. If you are using vinyl without a mat don't forget to set the cutting mat option to “none”. I hope this helps.
So there's no way that I can make a custom silhouette on Adobe Illustrator and upload it to The Cameo Software? I can only use the files that they provide?
No, You can use illustrator to create your own projects, but you'll need to upgrade your software to the designer edition if you want to use SVG files.
@@cutflower36 thank you for the reply. And may I share with you, I brought my cameo couple of days before. Now learning the basics. You are really doing a great job, your video is really helpful, appreciated.

Gracias.
Yes, you can use illustrator to create SVG files and then cut them using Cricut. Photoshop doesn't save SVG files, but you can save it as jpg, or PDF. However, I prefer to use SVG files. Keep in mind, yoou need to have the designer or business edition of Silhouette Studio software to open SVG files.
When you purchase the subscription to the additional prints do you keep those prints you buy permanently or do you have them until the subcription runs out?

Hello what is the thickest material in your experience that the silhouette can cut?
Thank you.
Hi, leather, but I wasn't happy with the results. I think Cameo 4 will do a better job with the new blades.
@@AvantiMorocha1 okay thank you
Thank you for the information!!! I love the information.!!!!
I’m glad you liked it 😊❤️
Hi, thanks for the instructions, could you please tell me the dimensions to cut? you said before up to 13", would I be able to put a roll of paper in this machine?
Sí, genia! Gracias!
Very helpful! Can the older Cameo model cutting mats be used with the Cameo 3?
You're welcome, it's a mat for Cameo2, it'll work.
Wow ur video so simple to understand 🙏🏼
I'm glad you liked it 😊❤️
Can you create sayings to put on the mugs. However, would you use the Cameo 3 to make the sayings?
Yes, very easy. There are lots of videos to show you how on RUclips. Enjoy your machine
So there's no way that I can make a custom silhouette on Adobe Illustrator and upload it to The Cameo Software? I can only use the files that they provide?
No, You can use illustrator to create your own projects, but you'll need to upgrade your software to the designer edition if you want to use SVG files.
May I ask you, can we import our own svg images, instead of subscribing from cameo?
you can copy and paste to your desktop, open or insert into the workspace, then use the trace tool
@@cutflower36 thank you for the reply. And may I share with you, I brought my cameo couple of days before. Now learning the basics. You are really doing a great job, your video is really helpful, appreciated.
@@bhoopeshs4389 thanks but it's not my video. I replied to u cus i thought maybe I could help
I am trying to create a stencil - opening a PNG image - I wasn't able to follow your steps - firstly by ungrouping the image , the icon was not clickable ! Any tips ?
Hi, a PNG image only have one layer, you may want to use the trace panel.
Hi thanks for sheer with us. just question if do not want to buy with them I can drawing my own
Gracias.

what if I want to do the letters small enough to fit in a handmade card?
Hi, if the font is too small I recommend using the print then cut technique.

So helpful. Well done.
Thank you, I'm glad you liked it 😊
Cant i just drag the logo or picture i desgined and print it ? im using photoshop and illustrator and i could save the file as svg ofc
@@AvantiMorocha1 do i have to subscribe to be able to use the machine it self for printing ?
@V Johnson Correct, to open SVG files with Silhouette Studio you need to upgrade the software to the designer edition.
Hi
I need to know your opinion of Cricut
Thanks
Hi, check my video "Q.A Cricut and Cameo".
Very informative video. Thank you for sharing.
When you purchase the subscription to the additional prints do you keep those prints you buy permanently or do you have them until the subcription runs out?
Hi, I'm almost positive that you'll have them permanently on Silhouette Cloud even after your subscription runs out.
