nice video bro! just a tip, when you want to remove all the white from your image you can select one white area anywhere with the magic wand tool, right click and click 'select similar' and it will select the rest of the white on the picture for you instead of you having to do it manually, saves a little time ahah!
Great video. I am thinking of buying the Cameo 3, to make masks to paint bike frames. what do you think about the cutting precision? Do you think I will have good results with this machine or do I need a more professional one?
Cria Impacto thats a great idea i use to paint bikes myself when i was into bmx! But it all depends on how Intricate the design is and also the size. If the design is to small it will have a hard time cutting it out.
Thanks for the reply. I dont think I will cut logos too small. Todays MTBs have big logos so I think it wont be a problem... A few years ago you couldnt find a vinyl cutter for this low price, but today they are cheap and thats why I had the question about the quality. Keep the good work.
Divinity NineFour Yes that is correct you gotta remember that the machine is only cutting whatever material you feed into it, it isn’t printing it if that makes sense :)
Help me out here. I'm having a hard time trying to make my decal to sticky on surfaces. I tried a mug, windshield, car, etc... I have a silhouette cameo 3 and I'm using a siser easy-weed black vinyl and a frisco craft transfer tape. I'm afraid I'm using the wrong vinyl since the siser is a HTV type of thing. Would you recommend me some other vinyl? Thanks
After I click send, the cameo reads Registering, then the machine starts moving the vinyl back and forth, while it detects the paper. after the Cameo is done it stops and reads registration failed. Failed to detect registration marks.
So do i need to have photo shop to use my cameo 3? and microsoft word? sorry i am new to this and dloaded the software and all i get is a white box that comes up
Benny Colley thank you! Im not really sure of what vinyl would be best to customize shoes though i thing it would depend on the application like are you gonna iron on the vinyl or are you just making stencils for designs
Nice video. Will definitely give this a try. Btw, how did you manage to cut without having registration marks? I just got a cameo 3 and trying to figure it out :)
The marks in the corners of the paper that tells the cameo where to cut. I understand you obviously don't need this when there's no lines to cut along. Apparently you can get a mat called pixscan that has the registration marks on it, so that might be my solution. I figured out how to cut without them when I'm not cutting along a printed design though :)
Dead Bat I honestly don't know I haven't really messed with anything on the edges thats just how it pops up for me but the pixscan can help you trace certain designs like drawings and such
Amercado7 Gotcha! I kinda thought you could cause I know Acorn software for a Mac is real close to photoshop at a much reduced cost! Actually I guess now there are several! Anyway thanks for the reply back and hope you have much success in 2020 and beyond
Trackhoe075 im sure that would work to the only purpose of it would be to give you a clean slate to make it easier for you but i think I’ll make a updated video on that, thank you and have a blessed 2020!

Cria Impacto You're Welcome! And yes you're right about that this vinyl cutter should do the trick for whatever you need done!
So the sticker came out white but on your computer it was black. Is that because the Oracle paper is white?
Divinity NineFour Yes that is correct you gotta remember that the machine is only cutting whatever material you feed into it, it isn’t printing it if that makes sense :)
@@Amercado7 thanks. I make my own graphics but they all have color in them so I'm not sure what route I'd take to make them decals
Divinity NineFour in your case you might need a sticker printer
THANKS FOR THE TUTORIAL HERMANO!!!
You're welcome!
Hi ,Great TuTo , please what is the name of the printer you are using.
Mohammed Amine Wissad do you mean the vinyl cutter? If so its the silhouette cameo 3
Cameo
Awesome video!
What kind of vinyl do you use? What is the name of the Vinyl Sticker for Cameo Silhouette?
I use oracal 651 vinyl
Great job!
Thank you for this tutorial! :D
+paul anthony Magat My pleasure!
Do you need to adjust the right roller on the cameo is on the vinyl also
Great at explaining..
Help me out here. I'm having a hard time trying to make my decal to sticky on surfaces. I tried a mug, windshield, car, etc...

You need to use Oracal 651 vinyl for car decals, not easy-weed (HTV)
Did you ever run into an issue having to do with the registration marks ?
After I click send, the cameo reads Registering, then the machine starts moving the vinyl back and forth, while it detects the paper. after the Cameo is done it stops and reads registration failed. Failed to detect registration marks.
@@OscarMartinez-pj8yc I haven't experienced anything like that but maybe it has to do with the cutting pad
Thanks very helpful
great explanation!!! Thanks :)
So do i need to have photo shop to use my cameo 3? and microsoft word? sorry i am new to this and dloaded the software and all i get is a white box that comes up
joanne readman No you do not you can make stickers using the silhouette studio I just like using PS because im familiar with it and its quicker for me
Except JPGs can have transparency too. PNG just stands for Portable Network Graphic.
nunjadamnbusiness yea your right but most of the time people know PNGs have no backgrounds
Great vid if I wanted to get vinyl to use for customizing shoes what would I use? I just bought the cameo thanks
Benny Colley thank you! Im not really sure of what vinyl would be best to customize shoes though i thing it would depend on the application like are you gonna iron on the vinyl or are you just making stencils for designs
Amercado7 just for making stencils to apply to the leather shoe then airbrush and remove the stencil
Benny Colley oh ok then Oracal 651 should work fine for that since its for tempory use
Amercado7 thank u again
Nice video. Will definitely give this a try. Btw, how did you manage to cut without having registration marks?
I just got a cameo 3 and trying to figure it out :)
Dead Bat im afraid im not sure what exactly you mean by registration marks
Dead Bat do you mean trademarks?

Registration marks are only for print and cut projects.
Thanks so much!!
Do you use any other cutters?
As of now this is the only cutter i use currently
thanks for the video
Where do you buy the sticker paper
Indi Rose i buy most of my supplies from amazon its oracal vinyl
Da hora
Yeah I’m sure everyone has photoshop....nice try
Trackhoe075 well you can actually just trace the image in silhouette and get the same outcome without photoshop 🤷🏽♂️
Amercado7
