Thanks for the post, made my setup a lot quicker, using mine for drilling small holes in soft wood; laser looks cool.... my give it a go... thanks again..
@@brakthehun I am making the laser cutter using nema 23 and tb6600 with the belt system with working area of 3 foot by 2 foot should i use 1/32 microstepping or 1/16 microstepping and is there any advantage to 32 microstepoing.. Because obviously the speed will be slower. and can you please answer my another question What is the maximum speed i can get with the arduino i am using xy homing firmware and 20 tooth pulley
hi bro ,, can you help me? I have a problem with my machine, so this should go sideways so it is straight, which should go straight so it turns sideways, the config settings in grbl are in accordance with your video bro, please for the solution🙏🙏🙏
Hi bro, i keep getting an alarm 9 when trying to homing with lightburn, is it because i only use 2 axes? I didnt use z axis, i try to change the file in config.h as you did, but still not working? Any tips how to diasble z axis on homing? Thanks bro
I already set my $130 and $131, is there any way around without flash the firmware? For example can i set the value of all z axis to 0? Will it do? I try it before editing the config.H on grbl firmware deleting the z axis and then uploaded it again to my arduino uno using IDE, but when i open lightburn, when i try to run the x and y axis, its just keep saying busy until i upload the old grbl firmware 1.1h, it work all fine but i cannot figure out how to homing with 2 axis, ? Any tips? Try flash the firmware first using laser grbl?
Tony Baltazar thanks a lot, it easier with laser grbl, your video really helps a lot, can you recommend which cam software is the most easeier to generate g code for beginners 😁
@@screeningstudio3868 I usually use laserGRBL for images. grid.space/kiri can generate laser tool paths in SVG format and you can open them up with lightburn.
I have looked for this help for over a year! Glad I finally found it! THANK YOU!!!😀
Thank you. Plane and simple, what I needed to know to finish it!

Do you have any plans on this design is love to do one.
Awesome thanks
awesome man; really helpfull
With a core xy system are you still able to use a rotary?
Yup. The z axis is still usable. I still wouldn't give the rotary a homing cycle
Hi bro I keep on watching.. Another nice one.. Can you share your design? Thanks
Yeah. Do you have an email I can send it to??
Actually!! here's a link:

@@brakthehun thank you bro. I like your design compact and neat.
hey bro, i followed your instruction in core xy but mine doesnt home... i have my limit switches in x and y axis

what is the maximum speed that we can get with this core XY setup on the laser with Arduino? can you tell me
I've had it up to 42000 mm/s
I raster along the Y axis instead of the X axis
@@brakthehun What 42000mm per second ! Thats insane
Anyways can you please start reuploading the co2 build videos i was actually making one for myself
@@BlackwingzYT sorry. Per minute.
I am out of town. I have all the wiring videos done. I just need to upload them.

I might need to see a pic of your machine. Sounds like you need to swap your x and y cables. How do I message you??
do you use the whatsapp application?

Set your $130 and $131.
To disable Z homing,, you can also use lasergrbl to upload firmware
