    We have some interesting and very different bridges in Switzerland:
    Kappelbrücke - Luzern
    Landwasser viaduct
    Salginatobelbrücke
    Sunniberbrücke
    Ponte dei Salti - Ticino

    8:26 Just curious, why didn't you take multiple single shots and merge them into a panorama in either LR or PS instead? Works most of the time for me when I don’t carry a wide angle lens. Never needed a tripod for this either. Great video and love these bridges!

      Yup, I gave handheld panos a try recently and it's game changing. Almost too easy when using a body with IBIS.

    It's a lovely place, great people and great shots! Never knew that building beside the bridge was a museum, really need to check that out.
    I had my first outing with the XT-4 there last week whilst up there for work. We took pretty much identical shots at 1:05, albeit at night. The spot at 3:06 is a really pretty place at night too when all the chairs are lit. Back again Monday, might have to hit a few of these spots myself!

    Ha'penny Bridge here in Dublin is my favourite. A pedestrian Bridge spanning the River Liffey. It got it's name from a toll charge to cross it for 1/2 penny back in the 1800's. A great bridge to photograph 📸.

    Thought bridge in thumbnail looked familiar, I work just down by the Swing Bridge. Missed a good vantage point looking down river from the High Level bridge (next bridge upstream from Swing Bridge , tall brick arches) or perhaps even from top of castle. Weirdly interesting watching someone else explore an area your kinda already familiar with.
    Good job you visited out of Gull season - wouldn’t have fancied standing under Tyne Bridge tower & lingering for a photo

    Nice hanging out as always. What are your thoughts on the 16-80mm lens now that you’ve used it a while? Im tempted to get me one but since i have a 18-55mm lens I wonder if its worth it really! 📸

    • @joeallam
      @joeallam  2 года назад +1

      Cheers! The 16-80mm has become a great lens for me with photography, although I'm still not much of a fan of it for video given the severe effect of focus as you zoom in. Compared to the 18-55mm the extra width and length is actually quite noticeable, along with the better weather sealing to keep dust out. Not sure it's worth the price on its own, but if you upgrade camera and get it in a kit bundle, I'd say it's worth it. I should probably make a video about it, as so many people ask haha!
