I have just been told that I am pre-diabetic. I am so scared. I’ve always been pretty healthy, but the last few years my health has been spiralling down. About 5 yrs ago I was diagnosed with PTSD. Since then I have had a total knee replacement, stomach surgery, a grand maul seizure which resulted in a concussion and broken shoulder, & then for 6 months, 100% separation from my son and grandchildren due to hard feelings on the part of my daughter in law. I have bloated up so much that I don’ t want to leave my house. Does that mean that my lymph nodes have died? I am so grateful to have found you. I will follow all of the guidelines you recommend. Barbara, I’m diabetic and I do everything you suggested. Except high intensity exercise. It might kill me. I’m 77, female after doing all house chore I do not have energy.
What about a type 2 diabetic that is super thin and loosing weight? Only thing I e researched is his (my father), he eats high carbs, so the diabetes is eating his muscle and fat, is this correct? I’m trying to change his diet but I need to do it asap and it’s hard when he’s trained his body so badly for so long based on trusting the drs. Are there any shakes to help keep the weight on? I’m struggling with the balance of keeping his weight and to gain weight but to get off the 7 meds. Thank you for your time.
I'm curious was the man 42 or 62 because 1 point when you said his wife said he was an old man, he was 42. Then when you said he was doing all these exercises , you said he was 62.

Yea, maybe google the GI of those foods again. Stone ground whole wheat bread has a GI of 60-67. Spelt has a GI of 93, white bread has a GI of 100
