Can begin to say how much I cheered seeing this classic boss make an appearance. I remember infact fighting a version of it (it went by a different name) in Curse of Darkness itself as a out of the way boss in the one area you go into when you run into Saint Germain the first time. I saw others fight the older version of the boss too in old LPs. This makes me nostalgic and thankful the creators put this boss in.
That concept of throwing soulless humans at high speed really left me impress in this scene! Very well animated, you can almost see there's weight to those masses of bodies
Let's just put it this way Isaac don't tolerate people s*** he hates backstabbers and he's not going to let somebody manipulate him for a human being he has some really big stones
0:40 man was perplexed he didn’t even know what was going on. You know it’s bad when even a demon from hell has to pause for a moment to figure out what the fuck is going on
That moment when you see the Wall of Flesh "Legion" The origin of Legion's design comes from a biblical account about a large number of demons who possessed a man. The New Testament outlines an encounter where Jesushealed a man from Gadara possessed by demons while traveling, in an event that came to be known as "the exorcism of the Gerasene demoniac". Thus, from the concept of being "composed of many" came the design of the shell composed of a large number of human bodies. The Symphony of the Night boss, Granfaloon, is named after a concept found in Kurt Vonnegut's 1963 science fiction novel Cat's Cradle. In the novel, a "granfalloon" is defined as a "false karass"; that is, it is a group of people who affect a shared identity or purpose, but whose mutual association is meaningless. It is a satirical reference to a group of high-minded people who share a similar belief. The group is described by Vonnegut as "a proud and meaningless association of human beings". The Granfaloon in Castlevania would be a literal representation of this ideal.
this show does such a good job at revealing things at the same pace as the characters recognize them in the midst of chaos. you really feel like youre isaac glancing around as you ride
When the bodies congregate together and reach towards the tower, the sound of their moaning is the exact same as the one from Aria of Sorrow when the bodies were shuffling towards the boss room.
Isaccs journey and character development in this series was top notch. His original stance that humans don't deserve to live and should be wiped out is subverted when vampires betray Dracula and Issac is assisted and even saved in his travels by helpful humans. Then he sees this. Someone like he was in the beginning. Using human beings as tools and pawns. Disregarding them as things, and Hector's face says it all. He feels bad for these people and wants to kill the monster responsible. He then buries these people with dignity in proper graves and repairs the city so that eventually people can repopulate it. Brilliant character writing 🖋👍
Same here. Would have preferred they stucked to the canon version and made "it" a Demon from Hell. It was a cool scene though so it didn't bother me that much.
Just a random magician that Issac kills. He enslaved the town to form an army of laborers to build him a fortress or something. It's actually mentioned I believe that the towns folk can still feel pain and think and such so to them, it's an I have no Mouth, but Must Scream situation so death would be preferable to life.
1:52 Anybody else think that demon kinda looks like a more intact Beezelbub?Would make sense since it did appear in the same room as legion in the inverted castle
Castlevania: The only series where the guy who stabs people in the heart and has their corpse possessed by a demon, and leads a demon army with the intent of wiping out the entire human race... is one of the good guys.
Isaac - Opressor; Hector - Opressed. The irony is, either of them could´ve had the other´s role easily, if they werent so different in their ways of thinking, Isaac would never put himself in the positions Hector does, whereas Hector never uses his powers to opress others and ends up being opressed instead.
Hector wants to get played deep down I feel like. Lenore understood that about him, he needs guidance and direction from other. In season 4 he will become like Isaac using his powers to conquer humanity and expand the Vampire empire.
I really appreciate that Isaac fights someone who's at the end of the road he's currently walking: a sad, lonely, pathetic little creep who sees other people as mere tools for him to use and discard as he sees fit. It forces him to see that he's wrong, which is always important to redemption arcs.

@@kedarraman6690 Majora was meant to be depressing, not grimdark. All the deaths already happened, and you couldn't do anything about it.
And ngl, if there was a "the townspeople go crazy and kill each other as the moon falls but it's fine because Link turns back time and we only put this in for obvious gratuitous gore" scene I'd probably stop watching immediately.
Love this reference so much. I felt goosebumps when I realized it was a reference to Legion. Just love how the netflix show is its own thing.
0:30 Only person who managed to damage isaac during the whole series was that random hypnotized floating zombie dude who accidentally kicked him while isaac was charging horseback 😂😭
The way they just start to float is so eerie
TF YOU ON ABOUT THAT SHIT WAS FUNNY AS HELLL ☠️
Can begin to say how much I cheered seeing this classic boss make an appearance. I remember infact fighting a version of it (it went by a different name) in Curse of Darkness itself as a out of the way boss in the one area you go into when you run into Saint Germain the first time. I saw others fight the older version of the boss too in old LPs. This makes me nostalgic and thankful the creators put this boss in.
That was the most unique Legion interpretation I have ever seen. Good job chara-designers on this show!
Isaac is so Cool.
He's my favorite.
That scene with the corpse turning into the big demon was pure joy
Really interesting way to bring Granfalloon/Legion into the series.
I FREAKING LOVE HOW BEAUTIFULLY THEY SHOWED THIS MOB OFF!
1:33
How lucky was Isaac to get Eren Yeager yeeted at him of all people :U
Excellent scene. One of the most intriguing bosses in Castlevania in my opinion and I'm glad they worked it into this series.
The fact that Legion got added into this so smoothly makes this incredible
That concept of throwing soulless humans at high speed really left me impress in this scene! Very well animated, you can almost see there's weight to those masses of bodies
Let's just put it this way Isaac don't tolerate people s*** he hates backstabbers and he's not going to let somebody manipulate him for a human being he has some really big stones
0:40 man was perplexed he didn’t even know what was going on. You know it’s bad when even a demon from hell has to pause for a moment to figure out what the fuck is going on
Even Isaac got impressed by how powerful and crazy this magician is
1:07 that face right there Issac: “the fuck..?!” That is 100% what hes thinking, and hes a guy who can turn corpses into demons.
That moment when you see the Wall of Flesh "Legion"
The origin of Legion's design comes from a biblical account about a large number of demons who possessed a man.
13th Evergreen Instead of one man controlled by many it’s many controlled by one man.

Isaac: Ok even for me that's fucked up
If this is how powerful Forgemasters are in their craft, I can't imagine what kind of army Hector will build for Camilla.
he needed his hammer first sadly
this show does such a good job at revealing things at the same pace as the characters recognize them in the midst of chaos. you really feel like youre isaac glancing around as you ride
Game: Hector = Cool, Isaac = Tool
Netflix: reversed
When the bodies congregate together and reach towards the tower, the sound of their moaning is the exact same as the one from Aria of Sorrow when the bodies were shuffling towards the boss room.
Castlevania game players: oh wow it’s legion
Netflix only watchers: what’s legion?
True
Me: The scariest Boss in the Castlevania series on a conceptual and symbolic level.
Damn even Isaac was surprised by that level of gore.
It’s always good when they get a game adaptation right.
Not the kind of Legion I expected but ok, I can go with this.
Same here. Would have preferred they stucked to the canon version and made "it" a Demon from Hell. It was a cool scene though so it didn't bother me that much.
To be fair, it could stil return as a demon, now that Magician is dead and most likely in Hell
@@filipvadas7602 Oh Shit if Isaac decides to revive the magician as a demon, the warudo is fucked
@@javiervasquez8995
Maybe Isaac will turn the wizard into the real Legion.
@@Ninjaananas
True becuase legion is actually a demon who surrounds itself with corpses as shields.
This scene was great and all but it was Isaac's conversation with Fly Eyes that made him the TRUE MVP of the show
Gotta love this show just for how it works its magic.
So this is what a Boss vs Boss fight is like.
THIS SHOW IS SO GOOD
1:32 when u open ur loot box and find the legendary character
Who is this magician btw?
He’s controlling the townsfolk with virtual crowns of thorns?
Just a random magician that Issac kills. He enslaved the town to form an army of laborers to build him a fortress or something. It's actually mentioned I believe that the towns folk can still feel pain and think and such so to them, it's an I have no Mouth, but Must Scream situation so death would be preferable to life.
If you like theories, the wizard bears a striking resemblance to Saint Germain
@@Omnicras have you watched the show ? St. Germain is literally presented at the beginning of the first episode.
He's technically Legion's Core-- but not a literal core.
JBeja M Well, he is a time traveller after all.
I didn't even think about this being the representation of legion , but damn that's such a good way to show it.
This version of legion was DOPE.
Me trying to get away from my friends in creative while I’m in survival
The best character alongside Trevor, hats down.
1:52 Anybody else think that demon kinda looks like a more intact Beezelbub?Would make sense since it did appear in the same room as legion in the inverted castle
Galamoth? No no he is not a normal demon. He is a Dark Lord too like Dracula.
isaac has been listing too much gloryhammer
Isaac And Sypha had the most creative fight scenes this season.
Hell, maybe even this year so far lol. XD
Can't wait to see Isaac vs Trevor
He took that projectile like a champ 1:16
Oh yeah! I forgot Isaac is suppose to be the villain
watching this on the family TV hoping this shows up when someone walks in instead of Hector or Alucard
Castlevania: The only series where the guy who stabs people in the heart and has their corpse possessed by a demon, and leads a demon army with the intent of wiping out the entire human race... is one of the good guys.
1:05 You know shit’s wild when you have the warlock that summons demons from hell basically going “What the fuck??”
Isaac: Path of the King
Alucard: Path of the Lonely
Trevor: Path of the Dark
Hector: Path of the SIMP
Forging on the fly...now that's soldiering
0:02 red rover red rover send Isaac right over!
In retrospect a demon horse with horns pointing toward the rider instead of forward is a bad idea
Legion?
Close enough.
Granfaloon
@@kenneth27205
The same demon.
So, basically forgemasters are essentially unstoppable.
Mom can we have legion?
No, we have legión at home
Mom, I love your home cooking!
Great reference to Legion, although not real Legion though. The real Legion would have gave birth to a Nuculais
Can't call it legion. There's not a laser shooting tentacle monster underneath all of them.
Instead of Nocturne we should have just gotten a spin off based on Isaac
Issac and hector are complete opposites. Issac was out there getting shit done. while hector was getting played the whole season
