I love how Sypha is low-key the most destructive and murderous of the trio. It's hilarious :D
It is! Both of them have precise strikes and there's sypha.
Hmm lemme try boom.
If no boom, lemme try big lightning.
@@beckhampang191don't forget the "let's see if I can make something creative out of this sheet of ice"
sypha could've become something equal to drac if that priest killed her whole fam lmaooo
@@straypaper extremely thin blade of ice

I swear she is perhaps one the most badass mage I've ever seen.
And she doesn't use something like magic swords or lasers, just pure elemental baddassery
@@shawermus
True. Like no weird, essay of a chants or prayers.
Absolutely this is pretty much how I hoped Dr. Strange would fight in the MCU .
@@BlackangelKatakuri the mcu trashed all the powerful comic characters ngl they did wanda sort sly right but she's not near he comic book counterpart
And apparently Juste (old man from Nocturne) makes her look like an amateur by comparison since he was the greatest mage from the Belmon/Belnades line
now 300 years later and this queen's magic lives on through every Belmont descendant.
Every Belmont descendant, and Speaker.
Her creativity on using her powers never fails to impress me, especially when she blocked that arrows using ice ball, and when she tried to protect that one men, using ice sphere shield, where it could cut the enemies limbs. Not to mention when she cut the monsters to half using the ice ring... she's so smart
I swear it's the little nuances that make her character so balanced.
She’s a fictional character written by creative human beings.
@@iAmNothingness wow no shit it's almost like you just described the whole point of creating characters 💀
What?! HOW?!@@iAmNothingness
@@iAmNothingnessOh my god thank you for reminding me I never would've known that
"Mages are stationary combatants"
Sypha:
"Lol. Lmao." *blows forty demons up while figure-skating*
To be fair she's more like a 4-elements monk IMO. But I love that.
This girl carried the whole show on her back.
I think she is a good example of a character who is equal to her teammates. She pulls her weight and is a valuable member when magic expertise is needed.
The best part of the show for me was Isaac. He pulled a Kaleesi with a happy ending.
@@fraybirch1930 I feel like Sypha is a good example of what I expected nami in One piece to use her clima-tact.
@@sinelizwimsengana5908 I have no idea what you are talking about and 900 episodes is too much for me so I'm just going to say you're probably right. 👍🏻
@@fraybirch1930 I started one piece as a kid, so I am all caught up😅
This is still in my watchlist. Is she like a sidekick character to the male lead? Also, how old is she supposed to be?
Not enough people talk about this lady: Smart, clever, powerful, inventive, funny, amazingly beautiful, with the perfect balance between innocence and naughty curiosity, and to top it all she is also a redhead...could she be more perfect?
And she's someone who says sh!t
If only she had tattoo's lol
This is why I laugh every time I hear some one say, "men can't stand strong women." Bullshit. We love strong women; Sypha's a perfect example. What Sypha is NOT, is a stoic, humorless, butch misandrist, which is what Hollywood seems to think is the ideal representation of a strong woman. Let strong women be WOMEN; not stand-ins for men.
Everybody adores her what are you talking about?
@@montyswel9633 bro she has a fucking cool scar caused by fucking Dracula
That is even better
The creativity of how they had her using magic in this series was excellent. Normally your have a wizard, warlock or sorcerer just using the same repeat spell casts without anything new, while Sypha used the spells she already perfected and came up with creative new ways in how to manipulate the elements
I know where that PFP comes from 😘
@@eolendes6432where does it come from cuz he's fine asf 😵💫
I love the fact that she doesn't faint after one attack
Fr like most characters “I don’t have enough mana” like cmon!😭
She's not Jean Gray.
She is one of the most enjoyable mages I have ever met.
Sufficient mana, agile skills, and the way to change abilities according to the scene.
@@kenquartz1813 fr and agreed
@@Kevin-s5nLMAO why would you even say that ?
I like how she can fight long range and in close quarters. She is very creative and resourceful.
Yes its so refreshing seeing a mage be a close range combatant
She was strong, yes, but she was SUPER creative with her powers and her real power was to improvise
I appreciate that she and Trevor clearly level up throughout the series. Her INT stat is off the charts by the end, while Trevor's been dumping points into strength and constitution.
She's so OP like it's insane.
Wait until you see their kids
@@Babbling_Wizard where can i read about themmm
She's not OP. She is very creative. That's why shes interesting.
Magic be like that
Also the other person is right. She uses her magic with creativity and precision. Unless she gets angry.
I love how aware of the battlefield she is. She uses every resource she has and plans ahead with every spell she casts. She may be cornered but she pulls some ice from a previous spell to obliterate her enemy and, by the way, uses the remaining to save her team mates from certain death.
The creativity and intelligence she has is one of the best uses of magic I ever seen, maybe even better than in Avatar
Sypha really set the bar when it comes to magic in the show. I don’t think we’ll ever see a speaker or any other sorcerer reach anything similar to her power.
I really like how Sypha’s magic isn’t just generalised magic, it’s energy based
She obviously primarily uses ice, which is the lack of energy, as heat is derived from the movement of particles and particles don’t move without energy
She also uses fire quite a bit, which is the presence of energy, as we just discussed
And a few times she uses electricity, which is the transferral of energy
Evocation wizardry. :)
And wind is a form of kinetic energy
No difference with any other magic you'd see anywhere else. You just described the elements used.
I've never caught this particular explanation for her ability set!! SO dope
In a show absolutely stuffed with overpowered, bad ass characters, Sypha stood out.
Sypha owns this show! Female mage who doesn't passing out constantly and is actualy very useful? Now, THAT'S how you create a strong female character. She is using her brain and is creative in battle. Unlike others...(*cough* for example Jean Grey *cough*).
God the one of the animated 80’s show was SO bad lmao
😂
leave Jeannie alone!!!! (i agree with everything you said lol)
But Jean's not even a mage 🤣
It's like watching a far more deadly combination of Katara and Zuko. She really was my favorite.
More like katara and azula given the lightning, jet propulsion and crazy mobility
@@lucaorlando6754 and dauntless killing spirit ;)
@@lucaorlando6754 I said to myself, "Look at what happens when Katara and Azula do the fusion technique. The compassion of Katara and the ruthlessness of Azula, with all of their skills and techniques."
It's because of katara's natural resourcefulness as a water bender isn't it
Her development as a cqc fighter is insane. Season 1 sypha had no answers when an enemy would close the distance. Now she readily fights close range cause she’s more used to it now.
Didn't really appreciate the true genius of Sypha's fighting IQ. Girl did a sling shot maneuver off of a singularity .
She and Hector made this show amazing. I also loved Carmilla’s fight, the red sword is kinda awesome and her rage dash was super cool
Yes it was cool!
I feel like Sypha and Avatar Kyoshi would get along very well. Discussing creative elemental ways to kill and whatnot.
Do you know what is so incredibly awesome? A strong, confident, powerful women who totally kicks ass - all while rocking short hair & being fully dressed! We need more characters like her!
A lot of people don't know but, thanks to Sypha the Belmonts can use magic. Sypha and Trevor's union infused the Belmonts bloodline with mystic arts. Sypha is definitely epic and my favorite Castlevania spellcaster.
Literally everyone who watched the sequel show knows that💀
@@chiletheghetto7763 "everyone who watched the sequel" 💀. what about the people who didn't watch the sequel, or people who haven't even started the series yet. see how you look silly? think b4 you type.
Dang
@iamTnastii well he wasn't talking about those people he was talking about the people who did see the sequel his statement still stands, I agree he's an ass but it's an accurate statement as is yours, and as the original commentor so everyone's actually correct right now how fun is that.
@chiletheghetto7763 the games explained this decades ago without the show. The show messed up tho. Richter is not known for his magical prowess. Juste on the other hand WAS considered a mage.
No one ever messes with the mage
Unless you're a mage yourself. 😅
@@Evil_Beauty True yeah. Only a mage can counter a mage. Just like how a warrior can beat another warrior
Depends on the settings
@@yaboigamerdouji7573 not just a warrior also a mage can beat a warrior
And a mage can learn to fight like a warrior in adds of its own first skills too...🤔😏😌
Technicas skills are just a things that any body can learn to use.
I always wondered how she was turned to stone by that stone golem, trevor effortlessly took care of. Like as soon as she was free there was no training arc for her she literally came out and proceeded to curb stomp literally every enemy she fought. Wish we saw what happened during that fight lol
Probably got jumped
@@badabingbing474 Even then which I doubt since there was only one in the cave, for her to not do critical damage to it or even escape is a little sus
@@chaoticmadness122"effortlessly" that's a damn lie and you know it, Trevor damn near got stoned and he had to use her as a footstool to kill it.
I LOVE that they did not make Sypha the old cliche female character, who is really OP, but whose powers are watered down requiring them to be saved every episode. Instead, when enemies tried Sypha she showed them what an OP mage can really do.
This has got to be arguably the most skilled individual in an anime I've ever seen
What I love is that at no time in this series does Trevor do the ‘oh no the girl I like is in trouble so imma not gonna trust her to get out of it and I’m going to go save her!’ Thing that almost ALL shows with any kinda fighting women have. Did they help each other out? Ofc. Did they have their backs? 100% but they trusted each other and Trevor let Sypha cook and Sypha let Trevor cook and together they made A FEAST
She's good in range combat and close combat, reminds me of Katara of ATLA but Sypha can manipulate multiple of elements 😅
so korra?
@@elizabeththompson8511 absolutely!! but I fell in love with Katara with her techniques in fighting, so yeah 😁
Yeah her fight choreography really made me think "what if Katara was the Avatar"
@@kerbygalang4509 Korra is weak af though. Katara and Toph >>>>>
Dracula's first impressions:
Alucard - "Not now, son." *Raises hand*
Trevor - "You must be the Belmont." *Raises hand*
Sypha - "SPEAKER MAGICIAN!!!" *Protects himself*
lmao
5:04 launching reed hot spears using a steam explosion has got to be the most creative and unexpected attack
Looking for this comment, thank you cause God damn 🤯
Literally some of the sickest magic fights I've ever seen in animation.
She started as someone being saved to becoming someone they cannot live without. Alucard and Trevor both would have died and killed without her talent, abilities, skills, magic and wit.
She's never seems tired after using such amount of spells....I would say she's one of the strongest characters comparing to many anime characters if we logically think about her endless mana
The avatar we needed but never had
Yeah, i agree, this is how Katara fight in Avatar
7:46 is the best shot, just unbelievably awesome
Agree. And so as 0:45
My girl is the definition of BATTLE MAGE
Sypha is such a badass! And very creative with her powers too! Awesome video ❤
I like how she did some hand combat moves using elements instead of just firing them to enemies
I like that she holds back and fights very gently when she fights human.
Her mastery over lightning is so sick.
I like how she actually control the elements and not just making big fireballs and waves of ice
Sypha carrying the show since she got caught stoned on set xD
0:44 The animators of this show were geniuses, holy _shit._
Without Sypha they would all have been dead. Love this show! Wished they did more seasons. Nocturne is 🔥 too!
Finally a mage who also put a quite amount of stat in to DEX instead of full on INT
100% the most powerful mage out of both castlevania and nocturne.
Her battle IQ and ingenuity is unmatched she’s definitely the Goat
Sypha is THE best combat magician in anything ever. You cannot change my mind about this.
Sypha's the most competent and creative magic user for me.
Trevor and Sypha might just be the most badass couple I can think of, out of all the shows, movies, games, books, anime and manga I've been exposed to.
I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR SRASON 3 TO 4 SCENES OMG TYY
I love how creative yet efficient she uses ice ❤❤❤
0:16 This fucking scene dude. The animators who worked on this show are beyond talented, this enters insanity territory. Someone tried telling me the animation would get worse past Season 2. What was that guy smoking?
Whoever is born from this bloodline automatically is born a god
Judging from their descendants, you're 100 percent right. Juste Belmont and Richter Belmont are Op'd as hell.
Sypha is the ultimate WITCH❤️🔥 Thank you for this video, however editing the full sypha scenes would be better✌️
The ultimate “Speaker Magician”🔥
Not a witch bro...
@@yoteexplico5308 In my opinion a magician sounds cheap and witch sound cooler 😎 I know she’s a scholar of magic 🪄
The greatest battle mage I’ve ever seen and I love her so much. Very badass!
More on these shows if I may. I just love how elemental magic and incorporate it with these stunning fights.
10:32 OMG I have to rewatch castlevania right now.
Magic users that know how to throw hands will always be peak to me. Plus, it makes sense. What if magic is not enough in a fight? The Nasuverse (Fate/Garden Of Sinners/Tsukihime) and even Ben 10 OG/AF/UA understands that. I'm glad Castlevania knows it too.
Can't wait to see what other mages can do in the sequel.
She’s so versatile and quick-witted
Such a badass mage
She's using her 101% every fight!
Never seen this. Looks like she's a fire + waterbender.
she is something else majestic.
nice, the new Avata from the water tribre looks amazing
She carried the whole show without a single help
She’s not just a mage. She’s more like a ninja to me…😅
I love the references to iconic castlevania in game enemies
Now THAT.... is a Battlemage.
The animators are such a W the way they depicted her
The speakers are my fav magic user of all time!
One thing I love about Magic in Castlevania, is that it feels like magic. Sounds weird but I like that it has no explanation or "system," to ground it. Because its magic and at the very least its consistent.
"You only know three spells!"
"I only need two."
"And-WHATTTTT IM FUCKING TALKING HERE!?"
Nocturne's fights aren't bad at all but not a single one has the level of sheer imagination that went into the Season 3 finale fight here. Annette, Tera, Richter and Marie *combined* have nothing on Sypha *alone* in terms of sheer magical versatility and even raw POWER.
It's a lot like young Toph from Airbender versus her descendants in Legend of Korra.
Merlin could never, you hear me! 😂
You are going to give the Belmont line such an amazing descendance, Sypha.
I feel like Trevor is a genius in combat, having to match the power of Sypha and Alucard only with skill lol
You'd be correct
She was only using skill too and she wasn't trained for combat. She is physically not as durable as him (because she does do that kind of training) and also she didn't use any magic based weapons. Trevor is cool, but this is a post giving her, her flowers.
So Sypha’s a firebender and waterbender! Nice!🤏🏾
She’s so strong for a mage she’s very agile even in a melee fights. She’s unique. Definitely one of the strongest female I’ve seen.
The trio kishi fail to execute.
The way Sypha combusts the flames while sustaining the ice from melt at the end scene is the most tricky part
the coolest mage character to ever come to fruition
Richter: One day, i will be as powerfull as you Sypha.
Sypha: One day, baby boy. One day in future.
In a classic rpg trio the rogue would have a depression, after Sypha and Trevor steals his job of dps provider
The fact that Sypha can master any magic spells is crazy..
Poco se habla del cariño que le pusieron los animadores a castlevania
Her ice and fire magic is so good
I absolutely love how much Sypha reminds me of Korra 😄
Now this is a first rate mage. I’m impressed.
See the thing sypha will always be a badass mage , someone so cool beautiful and dangerous that you should not mess with and because of her the Belmont clan is enjoying magic particularly Richter Belmont ❤
I've been glued to every single Sypha magic moment. Girl's got creativity for days, but seriously? Where's the earth-shattering action? No liquid water, no earth-bending, and they only used her wind for cushioning? Come on! The potential was screaming! I was dying to see her throw down some earth and water attacks, maybe conjure a freakin' storm, or even pull a total power move and suck all the air out of someone or create a vacuum around them!
Just simply super powerful !
This is how you create in a strong female protagonist. Disney take notes.
Like the old saying goes. "Careful who you make fun of in magic school"

From a sweet, kind and very skilled mage to someone who says sh!t.
Also a bonafide badass.👍
