He's spot on. All these comedians and podcasters have 2,3 even 4 different podcasts. All doing guest rotations on each others. Talking nonsense and shilling corporate garbage. They say nothing for hours on end.

Limmy was on office hours live (Tim Heidecker) - and as funny and awesome as that was there was once or twice where Limmy was like "Are we really gonna talk about the weather?" lol. So, while I enjoy the appearance I understand his point.

Limmy has earned his right because he's a comedian with an iconic TV show and has clear comedic talent. Some guy setting up in his ma's basement with a $2000 microphone is just pure vanity.
95% of these podcasts are complete dogshit, and a lot of them don't make money now because of how saturated the market is. Just people shouting over each other about nothing, total anti-comedy.
If you have good friends to chat about something you're passionate about, why not? It's fun to listen to people have fun conversations.
