Joe got payed a large sum of money at an early age from disney, thus he never had to address his insecurities that are prevalent in his behavior to this day. Since he never had to properly deal with his insecurities, he learned that he can just buy his way into peoples good graces, which is what hes been doing with comedy for the last decade plus. Joe knows hes not funny, joe knows nobody actually likes him, but he doesn't care because he has too much money for it ever to be a real issue.
This is why Joe adopted the role of “joke thief police” back in the day. He was trying to get in the good graces of all the comics who make fun of him behind his back. Joe Rogan is a super rich and influential celebrity LARPing as a standup comedian. If he never tried standup comedy he would still be famous for UFC, Fear Factor, and being a podcasting pioneer/mogul. On the contrary, if he never did those things and solely focused on standup comedy nobody would have any clue who he is and he’d just be one of many hacks who failed miserably at standup. The guy is not and has never been funny. The funniest thing he does is yell and make animal noises….
He goes on and on about comedy being his passion yet he absolutely ruined the comedy scene by dragging his equally unfunny pals to stardom based on nothing other than them being buddies. “Comedy Club” should be switched to just “Club” since it’s just a bunch of dudes famous for no reason other than being Rogan’s friends
Well said, 👏👏👏

@@BossHog007but it turns out Joey is a thin skinned pussy
Joe got payed a large sum of money at an early age from disney, thus he never had to address his insecurities that are prevalent in his behavior to this day. Since he never had to properly deal with his insecurities, he learned that he can just buy his way into peoples good graces, which is what hes been doing with comedy for the last decade plus. Joe knows hes not funny, joe knows nobody actually likes him, but he doesn't care because he has too much money for it ever to be a real issue.
Payed? 🤦
This is why Joe adopted the role of “joke thief police” back in the day. He was trying to get in the good graces of all the comics who make fun of him behind his back.

Schaubs special was better than Rogans new one. I'm glad Theo has managed to somewhat distance himself from this group as he is genuinely funny.
I dont think he has distanced himself from Joe Rogan, he has been branching out and becoming very mainstream in a way that is very positive and legit for him. Just like Tim Dillon, the people Joe puts on that actually have talent and put effort into the exposure JRE gave them, they dont hover around Rogan and become one of his orbiters stinking up the place, but just pop in and out for just long enough so that people and happy to see you there and sad to see you go.
