- Happy spooktober, RUclips! Here's a cover of Hellsing's first opening because even though the 2001 adaptation is meh the soundtrack is KILLER so I just had to.
I first learned how to play and sing this as a wee 14 year old and even started to make a midi cover of it (lol) that never saw the light of day. That was a very, very long time ago but the urge to make this remained strong and never went away! It's so timeless.

Dude this isnt just a cover. This is like a modern version for the song. If they ever make another hellsing series they should use this version of the song. Espically if the plot is somewhere besides the grim scenery of Britian.
Sadly, Hellsing's manga never continued after the destruction of London.
The mangaka did go and make Drifters after that, which is a pretty good manga and anime in it's own right

@big crunch Hellsing(manga) and Hellsing Ultimate have the exact same ending. Ultimate follows the story to the letter, unlike the original anime which went off on its own thing with the OCs.

I live in the original anime adaption, Alucard is the six eyed dog. It’s the perfect representation of what he is, a mad dog looking for excitement at dark of night.
He can also be seen as a church grim a soul force to help the living.
Its so sad that hellsing is such an underestimated anime. Its a masterpiece

Holy shit, I never watched or had interest in Hellsing before but this made me want to watch it now, that's beautiful

@@kirya7177 the action was fking amazing. can't remember too much about the plot but i remember it made no sense to me since the production of the anime was transferred through like 3 different studios and took 12 years to finish, but the animation and vibe of the show just get better and crazier as it goes on. highly recommend purely for the action itself.

The vocals are better here but I prefer the others piano to this one
To be fair they were wasted from what they said before
The only thing I don't prefer about this version is that the bass is rather subdued and that's a bit of a shame in my mind.

The words are a bit off. Like on take me home and I'll look to return....in this version they say "take me home and I'll be looking to return"

This is really fantastic. The higher tone to the piano and clearer vocals than the original make it really pop and just sound gorgeous.

No getting hard to this cover is completely understandable because A World Without Logos is awesome, this a great cover and no I'm not just saying this to make the fact I came a few times while listening to this seem normal.
so this is basically 'a world with logos'
(logos can also be translated to 'logic' or something like that that, and since the lyrics actually make sense here, it could be a nice little alternate title)

Amazing cover, changes enough to make it fresh and new but still stays faithful to the original. Only one I've found to do so. Would love to see you cover some of the other tracks from Hellsing or even some of Yasushi Ishii's other work like Fixer or Ascension21.
